Teenage skin is much more delicate than adult skin and can react harshly to cosmetics. It is important that you test and try before you buy. Sample the product on your skin to ensure that it doesn't cause any breakouts. Try to avoid foundation if you have acne-prone skin. Opt for waterproof and smudge-proof eye makeup to prevent your eyeliner and kohl from smearing. Most importantly, always moisturize your face before applying makeup.

Choose a suitable moisturizer for your skin type and apply it after washing your face at home. Never go to sleep with your makeup on.
