Summary: You are on the lookout for Scott McCall. When you find him, the pack questions why your eyes are blue, but you only tell him.

I wince and look down to my stomach that has a huge gash in it. I was chased by a few hunters a few days ago. I managed to get away a lot better than they did, but whatever they used to injure me must have been some serious stuff, because I still haven’t healed all the way. It doesn’t help that I’m dehydrated, but I’m also exhausted from being on the run for about a month or so. I have one thing that has kept me going, and that’s finding Scott McCall. If I can just find the true alpha, Scott McCall, then I’ll be okay. I’ll have a pack, and I’ll have a home. If they accept me.

I stop in a forest very close to Beacon Hills. I’ll go and find Scott and his pack tomorrow, but for now I need to rest, I need to think of how to approach. I climb up a tree and lay against a comfortable branch that can support me. I roll my shirt up to see if my wound is any better. I groan, when I look at it, it looks a little better, but it still isn’t healed. It’s somewhat discolored, and bleeding. I lean back, and look up through the scattered branches of the tree, and up to the stars. I feel tears well up in my eyes, but I fight them back and tell myself to go to sleep, and that everything will be okay tomorrow, because I’ll meet Scott McCall, and I’ll have a home. I’ll have a family. I wake to the sound of voices, and heartbeats.

“Do you seriously think that this is a good idea?” I hear a female voice. I hear four heartbeats, one of them significantly faster than the others.

“I’m sorry, but I think this is a terrible idea.” I hear a man voice, but he sounds more like a boy, from the way his voice trembles.

“We can take them. Come on. It’s not like they’re stronger than us.”

“They are stronger than me. Like, way stronger.” I hear the trembling voice again.

“We’ll be okay. Stiles, you’ll be fine, you have us.” The last voice says. I look over, they are now under me.

“Okay, but if we’re going to do this then,” The girl stops talking. I laser in my hearing, because I can hear them whispering.

“Hear that? Heartbeats?” The last voice asks. I freeze, and hold my breath, thinking they heard me. They must be werewolves, or were-something, if they could hear my heartbeat.

“Get down!” The girl shouts, and they all fall to the ground as an arrow flies past their heads. I turn my head to the other side, and see a few men, armored up, and standing in a way that’s ready to fight. A few more arrows whiz past, and I hear the people growling. They begin to fight, as I watch. I don’t want to give myself away and I also don’t want to injure myself even more. I’m barely hanging on as is.

It’s been a few minutes of the groups fighting each other. The girl gets knocked out, the scared boy is fighting, but he’s not as strong as the hunters, and he is shoved into the tree I’m in, and he lies there in pain. The only two left standing is a boy with light colored hair, and a little short, and a boy with dark hair, who seems to be the most experienced. The younger boy is shot with an arrow, which slows him down, but doesn’t stop him. He’s shot twice more, and he falls to the ground, not dead, but severely injured. They aren’t winning this fight, and I’m sitting up here, doing absolutely nothing, when I could at least try.

I jump from my branch, and bear my claws. I hit the hunter that shot the boy, and fight off the other hunter while the older boy fights off the other two. He notices me helping him, as do the people who are injured, but they say nothing. I take down both of my hunters, and help the man with his. They both fall to the ground eventually, knocked out. I sigh with relief, and look at the eyes that look at me. The girl wakes up, and walks to the human boy, making sure he’s alright.
