Summary: Your mind was fuzzy and your skin burned wherever his fingers touched. You felt your heart beating against your rib cage and your breath seemed to catch in your throat. You knew he could hear your heart beating as fast as possible, and you knew he could feel you become a trembling mess under his touch.

You weren’t sure how you got into your current situation, but at the time you weren’t questioning it. Your mind was fuzzy and your skin burned wherever his fingers touched. You felt your heart beating against your rib cage and your breath seemed to catch in your throat. You knew he could hear your heart beating as fast as possible, and you knew he could feel you become a trembling mess under his touch.

Peter had come over to check on you after he escaped from the Phantom Train Station, as he called it. He wanted to know you were alright and unharmed. You were almost completely unharmed, except for a few small cuts and some bruises scattered over your skin.

When he had walked in and noticed you pacing, you stopped to talk to him.

I wanted to help Scott get you-” You had stopped yourself, “get everyone back. After a close encounter with the Ghost Riders he said it might be best to come home with some protection of course. I don’t think Scott is dumb enough to leave me alone when-

You had kept rambling. Peter had let you keep you going. He watched closely as you tried to turn your thoughts into words, but it seemed to only come out as long, incoherent sentences. You had wanted to blurt out your feelings for him, but you weren’t too sure where his feelings lay. So you kept everything to yourself while you rambled about Scott and his pack saving the day, once again.

Um,” you had stopped yourself yet again, “so yea, I’m mostly okay. Just a little bruised.”

After you said that, the two of you stood in your living room, staring at each other. You fidgeted as you watched his eyes look over you. He looked at the bruises on your skin before his eyes met yours again. You stared at each other, you were almost waiting for him to turn around and leave, but he didn’t.

Before you could process anything, his body was pressed against yours and his lips pressed softly against your jawline. Which was how you ended up in your current position; stuck in between a wall and Peter.

He was gentle, more gentle than you ever imagined he could be, as his hands roamed under your shirt and his lips trailed down the soft skin of your neck. You leaned your head further back before the wall stopped you from moving anymore and let out a whine. He was moving too slow.

“Are you alright?” Peter questioned you in between kisses.

“Yea,” your voice was quiet and breathy.

Baby,” Peter pulled away from you and his met yours, his face only inches away from you, “just breathe.”

You caught your breath and your breathing was heavy for a moment. You stared at him as you chest heaved against his and he smiled down at you. You bit the inside of your lip as you waited for him to continue, but he didn’t.

“What are you waiting for?” Your hands gripped his jacket as you pressed yourself closer to him.

“I’ve been waiting for this forever, what’s it gonna hurt to wait a little longer,” his lips pressed to yours but he never kissed you, “you’re hurt, and I don’t want to make anything worse.”
