Summary: Derek’s feelings for Y/N come to light when he gets home to a part in his loft.

Yet another guy was putting his hands all over me as we danced. Not that I was complaining I was too drunk to care. Scott ended up going somewhere with Kira, Stiles was talking to some girl which I just left him to do because it was rare that Stiles spoke to any girl that wasn’t Lydia and Alison was with Isaac which I still found odd. So here I was drunk letting yet another guy grope me.

“Get your hands off,” I hear Derek all of a sudden and I quickly turn to see him tightly gripping the guys wrists.

“What are you doing?” I snap.

“I could ask you the same thing,” He snaps back.

“I don’t need you looking after me,” I shake my head and I grab the guys hand to go off with him and Derek storms off. Next thing I know I hear a table crashing and the music cuts out. I notice Derek stood there looking proud of himself smashing the table.

“Get out now,” He yells and everyone scatters.

“That includes you,” Derek walks over looking the guy up and down.

“Fine,” I roll my eyes walking towards the door.

“Not you,” He gently wraps his hand around my wrist.

“Go,” I sigh looking at the guy and he heads off quickly without much hesitation.

“Looks like I just saved you from something you’d regret,” Derek smirks.

“Why is it your life long mission to ruin my life?” I ask.

“Don’t flatter yourself,” He shakes his head.

“You always do this,” I roll my eyes going to leave but he pulls me back to him.

“You know why,” He tells me.

“Why?” I ask.

“You know,” He repeats.

“Why don’t you stop being so vague and just tell me why?” I ask.

“You really haven’t realised?” He asks.

“Realised what?” I shout starting to get annoyed.

“I just care about you okay,” He sighs.

“You’re lying,” I shake my head.

“What are you talking about?” He asks.

“You’re hiding something,” I shake my head.

“I’m not hiding anything,” He shrugs.

“I can see it,” I tell him.

“I’ve been in love with you for the past year does that make you happy?” He snaps.

“Wait, what?” I ask.

“Everyone else realised it months ago,” He shakes his head.

“Looks like I’m the only one who didn’t know then,” I tell him.

“You can leave now,” He tells me.

“What?” I ask.

“Leave Y/N,” He rolls his eyes.

“No,” I shake my head.

“No?” He asks.

“No,” I repeat stepping closer to him cupping his cheeks with my hands.

“What are you doing?” He asks as I lean it and kiss him.

“I’ve had a really big crush on you for a while,” I smile and he pulls me in for another kiss.
