Part 13 Romeo and Wendy Cuddle

No One P.O.V

He followed A.R.C up till some old ruins nearby.He was standing high and mighty on a pedestal.

"So, decided to void your return ticket now, did you?" A.R.C said sarcastically.

"Why are you here? Did you ruin this world?" Romeo asked.

"The answer's yes and no. ... Perhaps it's better to show you" A.R.C said summoning what a appeared to be a crucified... Romeo???

"Yes, that's you,After the world was devastated by flames, what do you think happened?A search for the guilty. Who did this you may ask? Humanity wasn't just jealous of wizards. They feared them. They used this incident as an excuse to hunt you down. Come with me, Romeo. Let us punish this foolish world of humanity. It is only fair to give back what was intended for you. You have every right to want justice!" He said.

Romeo smirked. "That's absurd. Whatever it is you want to do, you can do it alone!"

"You forgive humanity this folly then?" A.R.C asked pointing at the corpse.

"I determine my own destiny!" Romeo said clenching his fist.

"Such foolishness very well let's see if you can entertain me!" He said summoning fire in his hands.

"FIRE DRAGON BRILLIANT FLAME!" He yelled.

Romeo jumped out of the way of the explosion but was shocked.

"A dragon slayer move? But your my shadow! I'm not a dragon slayer!" He stated.

"Romeo O Romeo you know nothing!" A.R.C kicked him in the chest.

"What's wrong? Weren't you going to decide destiny?" He asked.

Romeo jumped back to his feet and went to go punch him but his fist fazed right through A.R.C.

"Fool I'm your shadow you can't touch me!" He said.

Romeo ducked an idea came to mind "Wanna Bet?" Romeos never attempted what he's about to do so his shadow shouldn't be able to copy it.

He mixed his fire with spatail magic and blast him with it, even though fire hit the ground it made a sphere around A.R.C that slowed down time. "Nani?" A.R.C yelled. Romeo drop kicked him in the face.

"Only I would know where to hurt me the most!" He smirked watching A.R.C roll over.

A.R.C got up and not wanting to deal with this anymore opened up another portal.

"A.R.C!" Romeo yelled chasing after him.

He jumped through the portal and used this as his opportunity to travel back home.

Wendy P.O.V

"Where back at the exact same time we left!"

"Talk about time travel" Meredy said. It's exactly like when we got back from Edolas.

"We did Romeo!" I said. Romeo smiled but my heart skipped a beat when I saw him pass out.

"Romeo!" I yelled running to his aid.

"Kids probobly just exhausted you should take him back to your hotel room, I'll explain everything to Erza" Ultear said.

I nodded and wrapped Romeo's arm around my shoulder taking him with me as we made our way back to my teams hotel.

Romeo wasn't too big but his bulky muscles made him slightly heavy.

I laid him down on the extra bed my hotel had, "there we go" I said letting out a sigh.

I smiled and sat on the edge of the bed observing him. He seemed so peaceful like this. My hand drifted towards his head petting it ever so slightly and giggling at how soft his hair was.

'He has so much hair' I thought with soft giggle.

'I should probably use my healing magic' I thought checking to see if he had any internal wounds.

Alas he was completely fine as if the whole primitive and future ordeal had never happened. Lad was just tired.

'Thank goodness' I thought laying beside him and admiring how cute he was asleep.

'Come to think of it it's not the first time he went berserk like that on bad guys'

I remember the time he went crazy against Corvin Gale.

I had to treat him afterwards but I remember everyone being so proud at how strong he was. I was proud too, he wasn't that small kid anymore, he's was a true fairy tail wizard one that fights for his friends and I'm so glad to be one of his... Even if I wish to be a little bit more then that but I'm far too shy ... But it's fine like this... For now...

Just then Romeo wrapped his arm around me, unconsciously.

"Ehhhhhh???" My face was bright red.I had just realized I'd been in bed with him this whole time! what do I do! What can I do?

"I'll protect... My... Family..." He mumbled in his sleep

He pulled me closer to his chest which was...warm ... Hearing his heartbeat like this felt oddly relaxing.

It was just the two of us here... It was...nice... I felt myself get tired and slowly drift off into slumberness with Romeo.

I buried my face deeper into his chest, I liked this feeling. I guess this was ... Ok

Romeo P.O.V

My eyes opened slowly too the glistening light coming from the window. I tried to sit up but something was holding me down

Thats when I saw Wendys gentle face right next to me. Immediately my mind went crazy.

'EHHHHH?What do I do!? What can I do!! I should move! But no... I don't wanna wake her!' I could feel myself blushing madly.

She was wrapped around my left arm so I really couldn't move, I sighed and decided to calm down.

I remember walking her home and running into crime sorcerer, they did something to me then everything went blurry.

'Wendy must've brought me back here' I thought.

Wendy subconsciously got closer snuggling up beside me, this was very blissful. After a couple a minutes of laying together, I felt her shift and saw her eyes flutter open.

As expected her face went just as red as mine and she immediately pulled back.

"OH UM ... GOOD MORNING ROMEO!" She said nervously and red.

"Um ... Yeah hi. Hey um... Mind telling me what exactly happened last night?" I asked.

Her face became less embarrassed since I changed the topic.

"You don't remember?" She asked to which I shook my head.

"You went berserk and exerted yourself" She explained shocking me.

"What how?" I asked.

"Ultear casted a spell on you"

"Yeah I remember that now ... Well anyways thanks for carrying me here" I said flashing her a smile.

"Don't mention it" She said flashing me an angelic smile.

I hopped off the bed and stretched my arms.

"I'm gonna head back to my dad don't want him to worry about me. See you at the games?"

"Yeah" She nodded "Wait a second use the door!"

"Nope!" I smirked jumping out.

I heard her mumble something about me being like Natsu to which I completely agreed.
