Part 42 Conflicts & Chaos

No One P.O.V

Irine one of the members of the Alvarez Empire had used her magic to teleport and separate a bunch of wizards from fairy tail.

This had caused Wendy to fall out of the sky and land face first. She wasn't hurt however infact what she landed on felt,warm and comforting? It had a nice smell to it too.

"Uhh..." her eyes snapped wide opened when she realized she was laying right on top of Romeo's chest. They both looked at each other and got redfaced.

"Oh I'm sorry-" Wendy said trying to quickly stand up, Romeo did as well but there entangled legs caused them to both slip and fall again. Now Romeo was ontop of her making direct eye contact.

Wendy blushed at how close they were but Romeo just smiled making her heart melt a bit.

"Here, I'll help you" He said slowly standing up and giving her a hand.

"Thank you... Where is everyone?" Wendy asked looking around.

"CARLAAAAA! SAMUEL!" They both called out to their friends but no luck.

They stayed there wondering what do until the voice of the first masters friend rang in their heads telling them they all had to assemble at fairy tail.

"You hear that Wendy!?" Romeo said excitingly.

"Yeah let's go to fairy tail!" She said.

Without there exceeds they both had to run towards their friends on foot. However they stopped in there tracks when they saw Eve bloody and beaten and Dyst standing over him.

"So you've come..." He said sadistically.

"Dyst I heard why your like this... I know what it's like to fall into despair and lose loved ones but still!" Romeo said.

"So you think you understand hmm?" Dyst asked. He then started laughing maniacally.

"You and your guild will be the destruction of the world regardless"

"We won't let that happen!" Wendy yelled

"We're going to beat Zeref and save the world!" Romeo said with a fiery fists.

"Sorry to say but you're not" Enno said walking in.

"Mom!?" Romeo said surprised to see her.

"You're not able to save the world, only I can save it by sealing away all your guildmarks and your magic" She explained.

From behind Romeo and Wendy. Mest walked in as well.

"You're Romeo's mom right? A fairy tail member? Tell me, why do you have no faith in your son or your guild?" Mest asked

"Mest! You cut me down yourself then have the nerve to spout about faith in comrades?" Dyst said standing closer to Enno. They weren't comrades but right now there focus was on the fairy tail members.

It was a stand off between Enno and Dyst on one side and Romeo Wendy and Mest on the other. However Wendy was more concerned with getting to Eve.

"It's in every humans nature to betray even there closest friends" Dyst said.

"I once believed that too, I didn't believe in my fairy tail comrades at all at one point, even left them for dead, I betrayed them... I thought it was just the natural order of things. But being with them I see the true light in humanity's potential in Romeo's potential, a power that can unify even the most obscure of guilds. I believe that fairy tail... that Romeo can change the future" Mest said so sincerely.

"Enno surely you understand what I mean" Mest said as she gave a look of second guessing herself before quickly shaking it off.

"You're the one who doesn't understand!" Enno yelled powering up as did Dyst.

"I'm not letting you take my pray" Dyst said attacking Romeo's mom right in front of him

Unable to sit there and watch Romeo jumped in as well as did Mest while Wendy tended to the injured Eve on the ground.

Romeo fought Dyst while Mest and Enno restrained one another

"Lend me your strength if we combine our spatail powers we can seal Dyst in frozen time" Mest offered.

"The only thing I'll be sealing is your magic!" Enno yelled as her and Dyst simultaneously attacked with magic with Romeo and Mest being in the middle

"Move!" Mest yelled shoving Romeo out the way.

Mest was hit with the full force of Dysts fire magic infront of him and Ennos sealing magic behind him. He was drained of his magic and his body was charred. Romeo and Wendy gasped as he fell to his knees.

Mest gave Romeo a happy look however.

"Having a family that believes in you that is truly the best feeling" He said before passing out.

"Mest!" They both yelled.

"Hahahaha still a fool even after all this time! Now it's your turn PHEONIX PEERLESS SLASH!"Dyst yelled blasting Romeo with a flame he could not endure.

"No!" Enno yelled deflecting the attack and defending her son

"You dare interrupt me!" Dyst yelled as now both her Romeo 2v1 Dyst. Their fight was so intense it spanned across the mountains and Dyst was eventually pushed back by mother and son working together.

Dyst still had a lot of fight in him but he sensed something he was looking for was near.

"Hmm guess I'll have to catch my prey later" Dyst said disappearing allowing Romeo and Enno to catch there breath.

Romeo smiled, even though she attacked Mest (no one cares) he's happy he got to fight along side his mom again.

"Mom..."

Enno looked at her son and knocked him out.

"Romeo!" Wendy called out running towards him.

"How could you do that to him" Wendy asked holding Romeo in her arms.

"It's so he wouldn't stop me from sealing away your magic... you and all of fairy tail, I'm sorry but I have to do it to protect him" Enno said, yet as she pointed her sword towards Wendy her hands trembled. Her conviction was starting to waver due to what Mest said.

'Damn him' she thought.

Eve finally regained consciousness and quickly created a blizzard that allowed him Romeo and Wendy to escape from Enno.

'That was probably for the best' She thought letting out a sigh.

She put her sword down and cried in her hands.

"What am I supposed to do?" Enno thought to herself.
