Ch 24: Visiting Hours

Lin's P.O.V.

After what happened at Kanto's, I felt slightly better. But I was also still pissed off beyond anything else. Those Ronin badtards tried to kill me and my kid. Not to mention that guy who did it also killed Aisha. And I was going to do whatever I could to make them pay.

But with the asshole that burned down my apartment building dead, I could breath easier. But I knew it meant that the rest of The Ronin would be coming after us. And I was going to make sure they all regret it too. I was just glad that Anna was safe with that Carlos kid.

Right now, Y/n and I were at the hospital to see Johnny. After what had happened at Aisha's, he almost died. Right now, we were waiting for the doctor to allow us to see him. And after a few minutes, the doctor came out and said we could go in.

Once we saw Johnny, we told him what had happened. Not only about my apartment, but about that son of a bitch that did it. I guess he was just still upset about Aisha since it seemed to take a moment for the news to sink in.

Johnny: So the bastards dead?

Lin: I personally cut him up.

Y/n: So how are you doing?

Johnny: She's dead man, so do you really gotta ask?

We all stayed silent for a moment, no one knowing what to say. I knew what it was like since I thought that I had lost Y/n five years ago. After a minute or so, Johnny decided to speak up again.

Johnny: Funeral?

Y/n: I'm personally setting it up, we're just waiting for you.

Lin: So how long until you're out?

Johnny: The doc said I should be up and murdering in a couple days. Well, he didn't say "murdering," but you guys get the idea.

Y/n and I both knew what he meant, and all to well. After a moment, the power had suddenly went out. And it didn't take a genius to figure out that something was up. It could have just been a broken fuse, but I think we all know that's not the case.

Y/n: Time to go?

Johnny: Fuck yeah!

So I took out my gun that I always made sure to have. And while Y/n got Johnny onto the gurney, I went to check the hallway for trouble. Then I saw a few Ronin turn the corner and quickly killed them.

Y/n: Ronin?

Lin: Yeah.

Y/n: Well, let's get this shit started.

So we started to make our way through the hospital. We had to deal with a bunch of these fucking assholes though. I guess they were pissed off about what happened at Kanto's too. And as we got to the elevator, we made our way to the lobby to get a car.

Luckily, Y/n was able to push the gurney and shoot. And as we just got through the front door, we saw an open ambulance outside. But then the damn thing got blown up before we could even get to it.

Lin: Shit!

So having no choice, we had to make our way inside. Johnny was starting to bitch about how we would get out of there now. But then we all heard the sound of a helicopter landing. And we rushed back to the elevator to get up to the rooftop.

Your P.O.V.

Things were really starting to heat up at this point. Once we got to the upper floors, we had to fight through another dozen Ronin. And Johnny was having a bit of trouble staying conscious. It was a good thing we were able to find some medical supplies to keep him alive.

Once we got to the roof, there was a helicopter up here. So Lin and I had quickly, and carefully, loaded Johnny up onto the helicopter. Luckily, we were able to take off without The Ronin all over our asses. I may not know how to fly, but I was just glad that I got us back to the crib in one piece.

Once we arrived, Lin and I got Johnny inside to be treated. It was a good thing we stick up on medicine and other shit in case of emergency. Once Gat was in the hands of some Saints, I felt slightly better than before. That's when I saw Pierce trying to flurt with Lin.

Pierce: C'mon girl, how about I show you a real nice time?

That's when Lin punched him right in his throat. And if that wasn't enough, she also kicked him in the balls. And all I could do was laugh at Pierce as he fell to the ground in pain. Then I went over and help him get off of his stupid ass.

Y/n: Pierce, next time you talk to Lin, make sure you think twice.

Pierce: Noted.

Third P.O.V.

At Kanto's, the police were still going through the crime scene. It was a blood path, there was no other way of even putting it. And Martha was the one who was leading the investigation. Then her phone started going off, and it was none other than Troy.

Troy: Martha, I've got bad news.

Martha: Worse than a body that was cut up into a dozen pieces and having more than thirty other bodies to add?

Troy: There was an attack over at Stilwater Memorial. The Ronin were the ones who attacked and were most likely looking for Johnny Gat.

Martha: Shit.

She knew this was bad too, as The Ronin were getting desperate. If the war didn't end soon, things would just get a lot worse. Meanwhile, Dane Vogel was meeting with the Akuji's about the hospital. But things didn't seem to be going so well for him. Vogel and Kazuo weren't getting along due to not only the hospital, but also the deal that Vogel made with Shogo.

Vogel: Mr. Akuji, your son and I worked out a very reasonable contract.

Kazuo Akuji: My son's an idiot Mr. Vogel. If you want The Ronin's protection, than you had best be prepared to offer us something much more substantial.

Vogel: That's not going to happen.

Kazuo Akuji: Then our business is concluded.

Vogel: Mr. Akuji, I can't stress how unwise this--

Kazuo Akuji: Be silent, you can see yourself out.

Shogo wanted to say something, but he reminded quiet. He didn't want to go against his father's wishes. So with his silence, Vogel took this as his sign to take his leave.

Vogel: Well that's that then, best of luck to you gentlemen.

With that, Vogel left The Ronin's hotel to head back to Ultor. And things with The Saints were heating up at this point. But Vogel thought of an idea to turn the tide of this war. So he decided to try and reach out to the leader of The Saints within the next few days.
