Ch 26: Rest In Peace

Your P.O.V.

It was a very stormy day out and it was the day of Aisha's funeral. Johnny and I were in our best suits and both Lin and Anna were there too. Pierce, Shaundi, Carlos, and Donnie were there to pay their respects too, as they were all fans of Aisha's music.

It's been a couple of days since we had destroyed the hotel. I was just hoping that things would calm down after we finished The Ronin. Then we'd have to go deal with The Sons of Samedi. But at the moment, none of that mattered as we were all paying our respects to our lost friend.

Priest: Eternal rest grant unto her O' Lord, and may perpetual light shine on her. May her soul and all the faithful souls of the departed rest in peace.

We all started to place flowers on the casket as it was lowered into the ground. Part of me felt guilty for what had happened to Aisha. If I knew that those bastards were going to kill her, I would've stopped it.

Then we all heard some motorcycles approach and saw Shogo and several other Ronin. And it seemed that Shogo was extremely pissed off. I guess after everything we've done, he's finally been pushed over his limits.

Shogo: You three have humiliated my family for the LAST TIME!

Johnny: Leave little boy.

Shogo: LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TAKING TO YOU GAT!

Johnny; Fuck off Akuji, I'm not killing anyone at Eesh's funeral. Tonight? Tomorrow? You name a time and I will gladly fuck you up, but not now.

Shogo: How noble, but your nobility is sorely operated.

Y/n: Lin, you and Donnie and Anna out of here now.

Lin: Alright, come on guys.

Anna: Dad? What's going on?

Y/n: Don't worry Anna, we'll take care of this and I'll see you soon.

With that, Lin took Donnie and Anna while Shogo and The Ronin took out SMG's and swords. Then Johnny, Carlos, Pierce, Shaundi, and I took out our guns and started killing The Ronin. As we were fighting, I saw Donnie and Anna go with Lin to get away from the attack.

After a few minutes, Shogo decided to make a run for it. Then a dozen more Ronin had shown up and we had to kill all of these bastards. And while I was shooting, I saw Shogo head to the caretakers house. I knew that bastard was going to pay for what he did.

After all of the reinforcements were dead, I made my way after Shogo. And as soon as I got to the garage over by the house, the door opened. Then I saw Shogo drive off on some sort of high tech motorcycle. But there was another motorcycle in the garage, so I started it up to chase after Shogo.

Lin's P.O.V. (short)

While Y/n and the others were dealing with Shogo, I was getting Anna and Donnie to safety. I wanted to help kill that bastard, but I knew that Anna would need me now. So we had to get away from the cemetery and quick.

Then a Ronin car came at us and I pushed Donnie out of the way and grabbed Anna. I was lucky enough to get us both out of the way in time too. Then the thug driving got out and was about to kill us. But then a gunshot rang out and the Ronin thug was dead. And I saw thar it was Donnie who had just pulled the trigger.

Lin: Thanks.

Donnie: No problem.

So Donnie helped me and Anna up and checked on her. Luckily, she wasn't hurt and I had let out a sigh of relief. And a few seconds later, Shogo sped by on a motorcycle with Y/n in pursuit. And I knew that it was just going to end only one way.

Your P.O.V.

As I chased Shogo, I had my own SMG and tons of ammo to use. So I chased after him around the suburbs to try and force him to stop. After several minutes, I was able to shoot out one of his tires and got him to crash. Then when I stopped, I saw that he was still alive.

So I grabbed him and started to drag his ass back to the cemetery. It took a few minutes to since he kept trying to get out of my grip. But I was able to drag him back there none the less. And as I got back, I saw that Johnny, Shaundi, Pierce, and Carlos were still there.

Shogo: Where are you taking me?! FUCKING LET ME GO!

But I wasn't listening to his pleas one fucking bit. This bastard tried to kill me, Lin, Anna, and all of the others. So I threw him to Johnny, who had punched him so hard, he fell easily. And all me and the others could do was watch.

Johnny: Get up.

So Shogo did so, probably to try and defend himself. So he tried to kick Johnny, but Johnny caught his leg and broke it badly. This caused Shogo to fall to the ground again, this time in pain.

Johnny: Get up.

It took him a minute, but Shogo did manage to get up. But his broken leg was making it to be hard. Then he had weakly punched Johnny, which caused Johnny to punch harder. Johnny had also headbutted Shogo, which made him fall by a tombstone he tried to use as support.

Shogo: Please......... stop.........

Johnny: Not so fun when you're fighting someone who's not tied to a chair, is it?

Shogo: I DIDN'T KILL HER!

Johnny: You ordered it.

With that, Johnny landed an extremely hard punch. It even caused Shogo to go head first through the tombstone that he was by. And it looked like that it had really hurt him too.

Shogo: I'm....... sorry........

Johnny: Well, that doesn't bring her back, now does it. And you couldn't even let her have a burial you fucking PIECE OF SHIT!

Then Johnny dragged Shogo over to another casket. It looked like there was another funeral going on before Shogo showed up. Then Johnny had dumped put the body in the other casket right next to Shogo. And it looked like he realized what was going to happen.

Shogo: No! Please!

But Johnny didn't listen as he threw Shogo in the casket. Then he slammed it shut as Shogo tried to beg for mercy. But Johnny and I were out of mercy and I was done with his shit. So Johnny hit a switch which caused the casket to get lowered into the ground.

Once it stopped, Johnny handed me a shovel to help him out. Then we started to pile dirt on top of the casket so we could bury him alive. Once that was done, I was able to find out that Lin, Anna, and Donnie were fine. Then they told me what happened, and I guess that I had some explaining to do with Anna when this is over.
