Mal's pov:

Once we got back to the hotel after the game, everyone was celebrating the big win, even though Jill told everyone to focus on the next game versus Chile. It wasn't a raging party, but Sonny and Ryn were singing at the top of their lungs and seeing who could come up with the worst dance move. Of course, Kelley had to join in and almost cause multiple people to get injured after attempting to do a handstand. Ryn quickly showing Kelley how it's done, practically snaps her back in half all while balancing on her two hands going into a backbend.

I can't help the reaction that comes out of my mouth, "Holy crap! Are you sure you have a spine?!"

"It's called flexibility, Pugh. Comes in handy for many things," Ryn replies with a smirk, before giving me a small wink. My face instantly goes crimson, as a pillow is flung at Ryn from the other bed.

"No sexual innuendos!" Alex yells, "I don't need to imagine you doing anything like that, ever!"

Ryn playfully rolls her eyes before replying to Alex, "Fine." She then quickly turns back to me biting her lip, and once again giving me a small wink. Another pillow hits her in the face, as I blush even more. "What?! I didn't say anything!" Ryn yells, earning chuckles from some of the other players.

Alex just glares at her before replying, "You know what you did."

Even as the conversation steers away from what just happened, I can't help it fill my mind as I watch Ryn. Over the past couple of week, something has changed between her and I. Nothing in how we act or what we say around each other, but something has definitely changed. I find myself always drawn to talk to her, and my eyes always seem to find her in a room. We would always laugh and make jokes, and Ryn has a naturally flirtation personality, but I find myself becoming more and more reactant to her comments. I don't know what's happening to me, because I've never felt this way with a girl ever.

I'm pulled back to reality, as Lindsey is shaking a hand in front of my face, "Earth to Mal. Hello?" I smack her hand away from me.

"What?" I ask yawning.

Lindsey chuckles, "Everyone's going to bed, and you look like you should have twenty minutes ago."

I roll my eyes before flopping back on the bed, "I don't think I can make it to my room." I close my eyes as if I've already fallen asleep.

Kelley is quick to say, "I will gladly drag you out to the hallway and leave you there if it means I get my bed back."

Before I can respond, I hear someone else say, "I got her."

I feel two arms wrap under my knees and back before I'm being lifted into the air. I look up to see it's Ryn, and I instantly start to blush, "My knight in shining armor."

She just chuckles slightly before walking out of Kelley's room and over to our door. "Mal, grab my key out of my back pocket," Ryn says, as I use my hand wrapped around her back to grab it. My cheeks instantly go bright red, as I realize I'm practically grabbing her ass. I hear Ryn chuckle, as I'm still immobile from embarrassment, "Pugh, you want to stop groping me, so I can get into our room."

I hear Sonny from down the hall practically catcalling us as she whistles, "Oh, Mal's trying to get some with Ryn."

"Excuse me, what?!" Alex yells, seeing me in Ryn's arms.

My cheeks go an even darker shade of red, before Ryn quickly answers, "Relax, Alex. It's called a joke." Ryn pushes open the door with me still in her arms, before the next thing I know I'm in the air.
