The couple hour long flight to Santa Barbara goes by quick, as I can finally catch up on some sleep. Both Mia and I haven't slowed our partying, leaving me severely hungover in the compact airplane seat. But thankfully since I now have no school work needing to get done before camp, I can fall asleep on Allie's shoulder. I'm quickly woken up by Pinoe poking my face, as the plane has just touched down.

We easily locate our luggage at the baggage claim, before getting in the car that is sent for the three of us. I see Allie check her text messages in the passenger seat, but I can't read them because I'm too far away. She suddenly says, "Could we stop for coffee before going to the hotel?"

I nod fine with the small pit stop, but Pinoe quickly says, "What about the meeting at—"

Allie cuts her off, shooting Pinoe a knowing look before saying, "I want to get coffee."

I look over to Pinoe sitting next to me, as she suddenly nodding her head, "Oh, ok."

I look between the two women knowingly before asking, "What are you two planning?"

Allie just holds up her hands in defense, "I just want some coffee."

I shoot her a 'really' look, "And I would've believed that if you hadn't practically bit off Pinoe's head when she started talking, or the fact that you two are speaking more through your facial expressions than using actual words."

"I'm short tempered and don't like using too many words without caffeine," Allie quickly says matter a factly, but I know it's a lie.

I roll my eyes before turning to Pinoe, "Come on, Pinoe. Just tell me what's going on."

Allie shoots Pinoe a death glare, "Pinoe, we're just getting coffee, right?"

"Right," Pinoe confirms, causing me to roll my eyes at their terrible lying. After a coffee trip that should've lasted 5 minutes, ended up being around 20, we finally arrive at the hotel we're staying at.

Pinoe says as we walk through the lobby, "We have to go straight to the conference room because the meeting is supposed to start in five minutes."

I just nod my head, as the three of us and our luggage squeeze into the small elevator. After traveling up to the sixth floor, we leave our luggage lining the hallway as we haven't gotten our room assignments yet. Both Allie and Pinoe walk slightly behind me, as we make our way over to the doors of the conference room. I ask, "Are you sure this is the right floor?" The doors are framed in wood, with the middle containing blurred glass, revealing the room is pitch black.

"Yeah, this is the right room," Allie says with confidence.

I look back to her, shooting her a confused glance before opening the door. I practically jump out of my skin at what's waiting for me in the room. Once I open the door, the lights are flicked on and all my national teammates yell, "Congratulations!"

My face goes completely red, as all the attention is on me. I can't help the smile that goes on my face, but also the sarcastic comment that comes out of my mouth, "What am I pregnant?"

Alex's face goes deadly serious, "You better not be."

Kelley quickly breaks Alex's serious tone, "No, silly! You graduated high school!" Kelley yells, before pulling a black graduation cap on my head.

I smile, as everyone gives me congrats. Sonnett is one of the last people to get to me, as she says, "Even though we kind of already celebrated in Portland, congrats!"

"Thank you," I say with a smile before asking, "Is there food, I'm starving."

I see Sonnett and Kelley make eye contact before they both nod their heads pulling me over to a table. "Close your eyes," Kelley instructs.
