OMERA sits at the white marble FOUNTAIN at the center of the CONSULATE GARDENS. Gigantic white LOTUS FLOWERS bloom around her.
She runs her hand through the surface of the water, brushing through schools of tiny BLUE FISH swimming playfully between her fingers.
Other diplomats wander around. GIL-GALEN VALAAR walks towards her.

GIL-GALEN
I could not help but notice that you've been particularly melancholy lately.

Melancholy?
GIL-GALEN

Gil-Galen takes a seat next to her. Omera shifts, giving him lots of room.
