Cal's game went great yesterday and I was really impressed when she ran out onto the field and threw the winning pass to Kyle Matthews. This morning after volleyball Em and I headed out to Hannah's. Cal was already there and as I got out Em pulled up beside me. We ate lunch, talked for a while up in the loft then watched the greatest showman which was our favorite movie ever, and at four we left heading back to Pinedale. Cal rode back with me since she had come out with Hannah but Hannah was staying at her dad's house with it being the weekend. We talked about last night's game again, but she only talked about the game. It was like something had happened between the game and this morning that she didn't want to tell me. We talked a while longer about how the volleyball season was going and how badly she wanted to play both football and volleyball. I felt bad for Cal, she would be playing football this year and then come back to volleyball but she wouldn't have the memories all us other freshmen would have. She would of course play basketball, and do track in the spring but what would the next three months be like for her she had already struggled with fitting with the football team, and it had only been three weeks.
