She was waiting in the doctor's office, squirming a little in the chair and scraping her nails along her knuckles. In all honesty, she was very uncomfortable. It had been a while since she'd been here to come get a check up and this was a new office as well. Her mask was starting to fog up her glasses. She got up and started pacing around the room. No one else was there in the waiting room. She was sharking around the chairs and getting very impatient and nervous, agitated is the right word. Heavy and uncomfortable silence hung in the air. And then finally, finally, some one broke it.
"Golden?"
Oh thank whatever deity above!
Ok. This is just a little bit of a personal rant/reflection. I went to the doctor's today to get enrolled in the system and get a check up. I was waiting for maybe 15 minutes? and I was fairly uncomfortable. Me being the socially awkward fucker I am-
Oh, and also, I just refer to myself as "Golden" or "Goldie". Call me that if you want, I really don't care.
