there she was.
she really was pathetic, wasn't she?
the one person that stuck with her was now gone. never to be seen by her anytime in the near future. she didn't know if it meant a no, forever or temporarily. a swirling pit of despair accumulated in her chest.
what did she even have left at this point?
she just gazed at the phone screen, looking at it with a face that was unable to be read. everyone really did hate her, huh? she really was that bad.
for playing the game?
she hated this game. she may not have regret joining, but she knew the now broken relationship that she had with microphone may be gone permanently. broken shards of scattered glass thrown out in her face, taunting her. telling her to fix something that was already shattered by her carelessness. each time she tried healing it, it only was to be broken further.
then suddenly, a new emotion settled at the surface of her brain, it seethed though her head and caught in her throat. it wasn't exactly readable. a mixture of guilt, jealousy, hurt, and most of all;
resentment.
the bitter emotions swirled together, giving her a new motive. she had no hopes of becoming better at this point anyway, did she? she wouldn't be able to go back in hopes of healing her relationship with all the other contestants that easily. it would practically be impossible. she wouldn't be weak and crumble to the ground like a frail shell of a being.
no. she was much more than that.
it was unfair how everyone was so unforgiving. she was trying to improve herself. her motives were never to actually manipulate mic. it-- it was a fair deal, she never actually used microphone to do anything specifically. if people wanted to hate her, she would give them a reason to hate her. she would give them something to hold against her if they really desired it. she never even hurt most of them directly in the first place,
but since they were so eager to incriminate her,
she would play along with the role given to her. just they watch.
after all, she was the villain, right?

Non-Fictiontaco and mic had recently gotten into an argument of sorts, and mic left the competition willingly, cutting taco out of her life. what happens when tacos guilt consumes her? when she's lost everything, and there's nothing she can do about it?
