While meditating trying to reach her father Lah Zhima through the Force, Lah Kara felt a disturbance in the Force. Then she began to shed tears. Something terrible had happened. Ethan felt what she was feeling, but he abstains from saying nothing until another time.

Lah Kara looks at Tatooine's binary sunset while trying to organize her thoughts, like Luke Skywalker did so decades ago.

(Music)

Ethan approach to her and says - Your training is going well. You've become one of the best duelists of the order's apprentices, Kara-. Kara responds saying - We need to be prepared. The Margrave Juro will oversee our final trials.-

Ethan pulls a holo data pad showing information about Master Juro

Ethan says - He is an old school Jedi Master. And I mean before Order 66 old school. We will be tested in ways we can't imagine-

Kara puts her hand on Ethan's shoulder and says - You fought one on one with Master Homen when you met him. Besides, one of the points of being a Jedi is knowing yourself-

Ethan removes her hand from his shoulder and says - Then you know what we feel, i mean, the.. i... it won't be tolerated by The Order. Love is forbidden for Jedi. -

Kara responds - I disagree. My father was a lightsaber smith and a Jedi Weaponmaster. Yet He married my mother out of love. Is attachment, not love, that's forbidden. The Order encourage us to love -

The two Jedi in training began their test with a series of exercises and a circuit course.

After a duel with training sabers, Ethan manages to defeat her for the first time.

Ethan tries to lift her, but she slapped his hand saying - You got lucky -

The Margrave Juro interrupts them by saying - In my experience, there's no such thing as Luck -

Kara said - I sensed something earlier. That's why i was unfocused. Don't we, Jedi, should be mindful of the future?-
Master Juro said - But not at the expense of the moment. A Jedi doesn't crave adventure or excitement. Be aware of the Living Force. Both of you. Now, tell me the Jedi Code

Both Kara and Ethan recite the Jedi Code they've seen from Luke Skywalker's writings.

A Jedi's promise must be the most serious, the deepest of his or her life.
A Jedi seeks not adventure or excitement, for a Jedi is passive, calm, and at peace.
A Jedi knows that anger, fear, and aggression lead to the dark side.
A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.
There is no "try," only "do."
Believe and you succeed.
Above all else, know that control of the Force comes only from concentration and training

Master Juro rolls his eyes up as he puts his hand on his forehead then he says - Despite being close, that is not the true code. I will tell you the wisdom that is the core of our Jedi beliefs

There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos; there is harmony
There is no death; there is the Force.

Then Margrave Juro continued saying -Now... There's a place here in Tatooine where the end of your training and your Lightsabers awaits to be recovered. Tatooine is a place teeming with Light Side Force Energy. This endeavor will help you to renew your purity and you'll have a better understanding of the true Jedi Code. Head to the Jundland Wastes.  You must perform the ritual of Demon's Blood. -

Ethan asks - What's Demon's Blood?-
Kara responds - Father told me about it. Jedi seeking enlightenment must drench themselves with the Sand Demon's blood and enter the village of the Tusken Raiders. Then they will tell us where our final Jedi Trial is.

Juro then says - Your insight serves you well, dear child. Then you know what to do. A last piece of advice. Be weary of yourselves, do not succumb to fear, arrogance or aggression. May the Force be with you. -

The two apprentices went to get their bearings

Homen says to the Margrave - They are reckless -
Juro responds to him - So were we, my friend. -
Homen asks - The code forbids taking multiple apprentices. Why do you train us together?-
Juro says - Because they share the same fate that was present on Jedi Master Rey with Redeemed Knight Ben Solo and Bastila Shan with the Prodigal Knight Revan centuries before them. Ethan and Lah Kara are our last hope to find the future Jedi Masters.
Homen responds - You know there is another. The offspring of Rey Skywalker
Juro says - He is neither light nor dark.... After they pass the trials, their newfound clarity will give them a glance of the will of the Force. Let the Force decide if we need the "son" of Skywalker-
