Ethan fell unconscious when he fell fell to darkness. Then Mother Merrin and Cal Kestis hurried him back to the village
Cal says - This experience left him damaged. I only sense dark thoughts on him Merrin says - But he stills has his bond with Merrin -
Ethan was struggling with the Nightbrothers that were keeping him restrained with The Force
Merrin says as she summons Magicks - We need to fix what has been broken -
The Nightbrothers let Ethan go and he proceeds to attack Merrin and Cal. Cal deflects his lightsaber attack while Merrin uses her Megicks to render him unconscious
Cal asks - Now what? - Merrin responds while performing her Magicks near Ethan's head - We will remove the Dark Side from him, for him to recover his sanity -
Merrin kept chanting a Nightsister Encantation as she successfully draws the Dark Side away from Ethan's body. Then, she levitates him with Magicks and gives him enough power to recover his sanity. Ethan awakens, but he was still affected by the Dark Side with his eyes still showing Dark Side corruption.
Ethan was partially restored, but he noticed that he couldn't use the Force
Merrin says to him - You've been cut off from the Force, but you can reestablish your connection with the Force as you perform the rite of passage, as both a Nightbrother and as a Jedi. (play Dathomir music)
Ethan says - I need to go and rescue Lejj! - Cal says to Ethan - We all care about what happens to Lejj, but you need to be prepared to face Darth Acnirr withour falling to the Dark Side - Merrin says - You'll be sent to the swamplands below our village and will recover the Talisman of the Beastmaster. In this quest, you'll be tested by the Force again. It will be up to you to restore your connection with the Force. Cal, remembering his own trials on Dagobah says - To succeed you will need to find yourself again - Ethan says - I won't fail. I'm not afraid anymore - As Ethan exits the village Merrin says - May the Force aid you, Ethan-
Ethan exits the village and sees the swamp from the summit.
