24 - The Completion

Heiying was just finishing up the second ritual when the four bells chimed throughout the sect and a disciple screaming.

Everyone in Xue Yangs home promptly got up and went to to capture the Yilling Laozu. But Luo Qingyang stopped Wen Ning.

In a normal circumstance, Wen Ning would've listened as this women resembled his jiejie very much but when Wei Wuxian is screaming and you can hear it, he dismissed the young lady.

"Madame, normally I would listen but only I have connections to Wei Wuxian mentally, and right now, he is screaming for me, wondering where I am. I must go to him"

With hesitation, everyone silently agreed that he must fight.

Panicked screams were heard along with building collapsing to the ground as well as an angry roar.

Luo Qingyang saw Lan Wangji struggle to breathe and stand up so she quickly dragged him back inside Xue Yangs home.

"We will bring him back to us but you need to stay here and regain your golden core, it is severely weakened, I can feel it! And we're going to need it for your lover!"

Having enough of Lan Wangji fighting against her, Luo Qingyang smacked his head and rendered him unconscious for the next few hours.
