Training was a must in Cloud Recess for the Lan disciples.

If you were a guest disciple, you had the option to learn the sword technique of Gusu.

It was encouraged to learn more than one sword technique so that when enemies come to fight, they could be caught off guard.

Su Minshan was doing just that with one of the Gusu Lan training him when they finally called it a day.

Walking back to his room in the guest residency area, he stopped walking when he felt two hands starting to wrap around his waist.

Grabbing those hands and twisting the arms of his attacker, he only let go when he heard a familiar voice cry out for him to stop.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! It's me Su She! No need to be rough!"

Letting his boyfriend be free from his tight grasp, he gently took those same hands and rubbed them, alleviating the pain he had caused.

"Rubbing my hands gently isn't going to make it better"

He did not have to look up at his boyfriend to know that he was smiling and teasing the shorter man.

Now thinking about it, Su She had to agree that it was stupid of him to think that.

"Anyways my nuan nan, freshen up and I'll join your walks around Cloud Recess"

"I see you leave your room every night just to walk around and admire it's beauty. I won't lie, Gusu is much more peaceful than Lanling in, especially if you have a father like Jin Guanshan..."
