But what really drove her over the edge was when her psychopath of a father gained custody of her again, just to put her in the place she hated most of all.
More importantly, she hated the people in it. All of her friends were on the other side, her boyfriend too.
They couldn't let anyone know they were still together. For the sake of not starting more problems than there already were, Ayane Cain and Miguel Diaz pretended to hate each other.
So yeah, Ayane felt stuck. She was not the type to complain, but in this case she thought her life had gotten pretty shitty.
But she still had Miguel. And because of him, she had hope.
And if she lost Miguel, there would be no hope for the person she would become.
