I left the plastic bag there and ran away as fast as I could. I could barely stand that sight. The sight of him, being with someone other than me, it was the worst!

My lazy ass got exhausted from running around and unexpectedly, I found myself standing in front of the bar. Should I come in? Should I... vent this feeling on alcohol? Too much happened already. I thought everything was moving smoothly but here am I, looking for a diversion.

I was thrilled and nervous as soon as I entered the bar. The atmosphere and the pressure it has was intimidating. Will I be alright?

I sighed in frustration as I sat at the front bar. There are not many people here since it's only 6 in the afternoon. The bartender asked me what I wanted. I want peace of mind lol.

I didn't give him a response yet because I'm still not comfortable with the atmosphere here so I told him that I'll call him later if ever I decided what to drink.

Wow, I am broke but here I am, still wasting money on alcohol.

"Down for a drink?"

"It's on me"

I rolled my eyes, who is it this time?

A man around my age with tousled blonde-streaked hair sat beside me, offering a drink. It's free, but who cares? He's a stranger.

"Fuck off"

He chuckled and said, "Come on, I know that look in your eyes, it's not good keeping them in. Vent it out on alcohol, trust me"

My eyes widened, can he really see through me? I sighed, "Fine, just one-"

"Don't be so sure of it" he added and called the bartender.

"Whatever"

"What would you like?"

He asked. I can't believe I'm taking a drink offered by a stranger just because of those words.

"A glass of cocktail will do" I responded.

My alcohol tolerance is lower than the lowest, I can't afford to be wasted here.
