A/n: I haven't worked very hard on this, I'm just using this whole book as a writing exercise of sorts. I'm writing either having in mind post-canon boys or just aged up. And for Maurice I'm going almost off of vibes and headcanons alone, he doesn't get a lot of time in the book. That's all I suppose

Piggy🐚
Like a royal. The boy literally worships you and follows you around, trying to be helpful. Would do your homework if you asked. Over time he just becomes a figure in your life whether you want it or not, he's just always in the background trying to get closer. Though, I suppose he's not the worst on this list when it comes to dealing with his feelings

Ralph🔥
He's very obviously into you. The basic stuff - wants to be paired up with you and always favours you, picking your side in discussions and all that. Being the popular kid he is, it does help you out a ton sometimes. However, he hasn't thrown his dignity out of the window completely. While it's clear he likes you he, at least, knows better than to desperately yearn for your attention. What a cool guy

Simon🦋
Surprisingly, this boy treats you very casually. While you might notice his subtle compliments it's nothing too obvious. He's just a kind guy and that probably makes it worse for you since it's not easy to figure out that he likes you. You'd have to be really close friends beforehand to really notice his glances and subtle giddiness. The only cue is that he might seem slightly stressed, but it's Simon we're talking about and his peers don't need to do much to stress him out

Jack🎼
Being the definition of a superiority complex he's not very good with his crushes. He wants you to think he's perfect and that you're lucky that he wants to have you around. He'll brag, show off, or sometimes even make you feel incompetent. And let's be honest here, he'd rather make you feel like he dislikes you than have you know about his crush. He's objectively the worst one on this list, sorry

Roger☠️
This guy could be cast in Twilight with how much he's staring at you. He listens in on your conversations, tries to learn things about you and watches you all the time. Although everyone knows he's just sort of odd, its obvious that you caught his eye and most probably considered warning you (since he is kind of shady, you know)

Maurice☀️
He tries to act natural, tries to just casually become your friend and not let you know that he has a crush. But he's not very smooth and most of the time your interactions are quite awkward. It's clear he desperately wants to appear cool and that you stress him out, which is so unlike him that it's a wonder if you haven't caught on
