You cannot convince me that he doesn't have your birthday memorised. Assuming you two have known each other for a long time he'd probably invite you over to his aunt's store to hang out. Every year he wants to give you something different so it might be a book you've been meaning to save up for, or a treat he made and so on

Unless you're very secretive about your birthdays he probably asked around for the date, promising himself to do something big. And of course, then he forgot about it for the next few months, leaving himself a week to figure out how to approach the subject. He'd probably ask around for ideas before deciding what to do. His favourite would be inviting you over for a sleepover and just doing things you like. He picks up your favourite snacks, all-time favourite movie, sodas and all that. If you're up for it he'd also sneak out into the night together to just mess around in the greenery surrounding his home. But overall he lets you pick activities and just wants the stay to be about you

At some point he just asked you about the date of your birthday and what would you want to get. He saves up and buys the thing sometime before the birthday On your day he'd ask you to meet him after choir practice and emerge from the room with the most extra-looking box ever because why not. Like, I'm not exaggerating this is the prettiest gift you could get. All the other boys might snicker around you but he'd just ignore them, handing you (though bashfully) the present

Jack🎼
Not to make him the ass again but I don't think he'd even think about your birthday until the day comes. No questions, no nothing. And then he overhears someone mentioning that today is indeed your special day. He just, he sort of doesn't know what to do. Of course, he won't ask anyone for help. So he just thinks about something to get you, (though he's the kind of person to give you something he'd enjoy) and just bolts to get it from the store the next chance he has so probably in between classes. Then he finds you and somewhat warmly (and arrogantly) hand you the thing. For the rest of the day, he'd be a bit nicer though it's Jack we're talking about

Birthdays aren't a big deal to him, so too bad if they are to you I suppose. Alright, seriously now, he might not have anything ready to give to you but it's not all about gifts, is it? The whole day you'll see him giving you special treatment. It's nothing too big, letting you go first in the queue during lunch, giving you homework so that you can have some more free time, walking you home to keep you company if you wish to. He's nice in his own way and wants you to know that he's happy to have you in his life

Maurice☀️
My boy really doesn't know what to do. He just asks you about your birthdate and figures out he'll get the idea soon. When that doesn't happen he asks around, but he's probably the most stable and put together in his friend group (older choir kids) so that might not help. But he does get an idea, sort of by pure luck. So, on the day of your birthday, he buys tickets to the cinema. It's all very classic, a movie and a walk home. But it's nice, though you'd probably barely avoid getting banned from the cinema building because of his stupid ideas (and you enabling them-)
