Some of you may know this, but I'm doing a special performance with my dance studio in about a week (Oct 9). The place asked for a specific difficulty (advanced), a specific style (musical theatre), and a specific song (If I Only Had A Brain). Our teacher asked our regular mt class if anyone could do it and come to practices, and I could and wanted to, and so I'm doing it! Originally I was gonna do the scarecrow part (it's all partner work), but a boy joined the group so I got switched to the Dorothy part. And that meant that I had to learn the whole 2 1/2 minute dance in an hour and a half yesterday. It was intense!
A pic of our rehearsals got posted to the studio's facebook page, so I thought I'd share it. It's the ending pose. I'm the one standing closest to the camera. (I believe this was the last run-through, so we were all exhausted lol)
