"Have you heard the song, Remember Me This Way? That song played over and over when I decided to write this book." famous writer Jinyoung Park said.

"No, I haven't. I assume it was from that song you got the title of your best-selling book?" The host asked.

Jinyoung smiled, "I think I will let the readers decide if I got the title from the song or not, once they read it."

"I heard from the grapevine that this story was loosely based on you?"

"Ah, yes.  This is the first book I published that was based on my story... our story. A story of how we fell in love and how we faced the world together." Jinyoung uttered fondly.

⏪⏪⏪

Seven years ago on a cold Autumn day, Jinyoung was sitting by the window of the cafe he frequented.  He just loved to sit and watched people passing by while he sipped his favourite coffee.

"People watching again? Don't you find that creepy?" Yugyeom, his younger friend asked.

"How can that be creepy? I am not going to their faces or invading their space. I just like watching people... you know...how they interact, how they react to something... it's good for the characters in my stories." Jinyoung explained.

"Oh really? So, you can tell someone's character by just watching them?" The young man asked.

"Uh-huh." Jinyoung answered as he sipped on his cup.

"Enlighten me then...that woman... tell me what character she is." Yugyeom pointed out a woman carrying her purse and a cell phone tucked between her shoulder and ear.

Jinyoung rolled his eyes but looked at the woman that Yugyeom was pointing at. "Oh, an over-stressed working mom. She is currently in a hurry to get her son from school and at the same time talking to her client about something."

"Hmmm... how about that guy?" Yugyeom pointed out a man coming into the cafe. Broad shoulders. Oozing some bad boy image.

Jinyoung smirked, "Ah, bad boy image. A man who loves risks and oozes too much masculinity but deep inside he is a sensitive soul. A romantic sap?"

"You're wrong! He is my boss... he owns this cafe. Him? Romantic? I don't think so." Yugyeom shook his head and laughed.

"How well do you know your boss?" Jinyoung asked.

"Well, well enough to say he ain't sensitive," Yugyeom replied.

The two of them got distracted when someone approached their table and asked, "What'ya two discussing about? Gyeom, that guy, who assumed your co-worker, is looking this way. I guess your break is over."

"Mark! Hey! You're finally here." Jinyoung brightly greeted the older man.

"That's my boss and he is not looking at me... I think he was staring at you. Besides, I'm done with my shift." Yugyeom furrowed his brow and gave Mark a confused look.

"Me? Why? I don't know him and I didn't do anything." Mark said while he took a seat beside Jinyoung.

"Don't mind him, Mark. Gyeom-ah is testing my people's characterization skills." Jinyoung said laughing.
