It's official- you're broke.

Penniless, as poor as a church mouse, poverty-stricken.

You stared at your phone screen, your bank app only confirming the worst. It was time to start tutoring. This happened once in a while, when your expenses outweighed the financial aid you received while you were in school. Normally, you were great at your finances, but last month your car broke down, and then you went to that concert, and then there was that night you got really high and ordered 5 sushi rolls- life was hectic.

Anyway whenever you ran out of money you were left with two options: sell your plasma or tutor dumb kids in your lectures. You had already hit your limit on the plasma thing, so tutoring it was.

That's how you found yourself sitting at a table in the library, tapping the edge of your pen on the desk, waiting for a guy named Jung Hoseok to show up when he said he would. You yawned, wondering if you could still charge him for the time you've been waiting for when he suddenly appeared, standing in front of you with a bright smile. You took in his appearance, expensive shoes, clothes with an obnoxious print that were clearly of a prestige brand, a backpack you were sure you had seen in a TV show last night.

"Sorry," He said sheepishly, scrambling into the seat in front of you, "Traffic."

"No problem," You shrugged, "There's a late fee though."

He nodded eagerly, accepting the extra charge without hesitation. So he was rich. You got to work, helping him through the concepts covered in the last two lectures and then worked through the homework together.

"How do you understand all of this? It's like another language to me," He grumbled, shifting closer to you.

You peered at him absentmindedly, noting the delicate slope of his nose and the way his ears wiggled a little when he frowned down at his page. You stifled a laugh, enjoying the slightly ditsy air about him.

"I dunno. It just clicks." You said, "Why are you taking Physics if you don't like it?"

"Dance majors are required to take 5 science credits and I already took the easy ones," He sighed. "What else are you good at, besides Physics?"

You blinked blankly, looking up at him. What else were you good at? Why was he asking? You were caught off guard by how close he had suddenly gotten to you, leaned almost completely over the table between the pair of you, eyes wide and trained on you. You tilted your head to the side, wondering if you've ever seen someone look so much like a puppy.

"I like cooking, I'm good at complaining- oh, I longboard on the weekends sometimes," You listed, counting off your hobbies on your fingers.

"I-sorry, I should've been more clear." He laughed awkwardly, leaning back in his seat, "I meant, what other subjects do you tutor? I might need help in my other classes."
