The new beginning

Chris P.O.V

It was a week ago when they called me back to start filming for The Perfect Score. It was going to be my second movie so I was a bit nervous. I had just turned 22 so I was supposed to look like a grown adult, but people didn't think so. I looked like a little kid and people may not know this but I was very insecure.

I drove to the set in my car nervously. I wished they had picked a better place to film the movie; It was in Canada so even though it was Summer the temperatures weren't that high to hide my sweat. I parked my car in the parking lot and went in. Everyone was there. I thought I was going to be alone until I saw someone that changed my life. This beautiful woman was standing talking to the director. She had blonde hair and it was tied back into a ponytail. She was wearing a white short sleeve t-shirt under a jacket, long trousers and a bag on her shoulder. The director called me over and introduced me to my cast mates: Erika Christensen, Bryan Greenberg and more. But the one that stuck was the lady's name: Scarlett Johansson. That name stuck in my head.

We were called to a room with a big table so that they could give us our scripts and we could start some of the reading of the first scene. My seat was next to Bryan's and we talked all afternoon. He was 25 at the time so 3 years older than me. He has a sister and they get along very well. Bryan plays Matty Mathews and he got to kiss Scarlett.

"You lucky son of a bitch." I said to him, He just laughed and in no time we were both laughing.

"You should ask her out. She cute but I'll back out for you man."

"Nah. I'm gonna let it pass. Why all the romances, right? First let's try talking to her." I said laughing along. I hit him a bit on the arm to get him to stand up and we both walked to Scarlett who was talking to my other costar Erika Christensen.

"Hi. My name is Bryan and this is Chris. We are your new Costars apparently."

"Hi. I'm Scarlett and this is-" She was cut off by Erika quickly shaking my hand and saying,

"Erika, Erika Christensen."

Scarlett P.O.V (From the beginning)

I got the part of Francesca Curtis in the perfect score and I had to go to the set today to meet everyone. I was tired and didn't want to go. I was 18 years old and I had to drive to the set but I really didn't want to. I was about to bail when my agent called and asked me where I was. I hurried to my car and drove quickly to the set. Luckily I wasn't far away so I wasn't the last. When I saw Brian Robbins I walked towards him to talk to him about the movie. It was my first time working with him and I wanted to befriend him. We talked about a lot of stuff but there was one thing that I wanted to ask,

"Do I have to dye my hair or will I wear a wig?" Bryan laughed and responded,

"No. Don't worry, you will wear a wig." I sighed with relief and he laughed more. I smiled shyly and we kept talking. After some time I felt someone staring at me. It was this guy. He had a sweater and some trousers on. He looked like a sweet guy. I supposed it was one of my costars. I just didn't know who. Then all of a sudden they called us in to go to the room next door so we could do the first reading of the first scene. I was sitting next to this annoying girl called Katherine and apparently the guy that was staring at me was this guy called Chris. Katherine was obsessed with him. She couldn't stop staring at him and talking about him. He sat next to another guy and was very into the conversation they were having because they couldn't stop laughing.

After hours of talking with lots of people, Chris and his friend came over to us and presented themselves.

"Hi. My name is Bryan and this is Chris. We are your new Costars apparently." I was going to present myself and Katherine when she walked quickly towards Evans and started blabbing and talking to him. I talked to Bryan for a long time when I turned to Chris and saw him struggling to keep up with Katherine so I said,

"Hey Chris, we need to talk with the director about what we talked about before." I gave him a look and he understood pretty quickly because he nodded. We walked quickly out of the set and went to where our cars were parked.

"Thanks. You saved me there. She was talking way too much."

"Tell me about it. I've been listening to her ramble about you for the past 2 hours." He started laughing at me and not long after I joined in. We started talking a lot and found out we had a lot in common. My phone buzzed to see it was my sister. She was about to tell me about some gossip going around. Normally I would answer right away because I didn't have anything better to do but now, I wanted to stay talking to Chris. I turned off the phone and said,

"Chris, do you want to go by my place and watch a movie? It's not that late and I'm bored."

Chris P.O.V

I didn't know what to say. I was going to say no but she looked at me with those beautiful emerald eyes and I couldn't resist. Plus I wasn't going to do anything better at my house.

"Yeah sure. I'll go in my car and follow you." I gave her a smile and we both got in our cars. When we arrived, I entered the house to see a big living room with a tv and a couch. Scarlett went quickly upstairs to change and told me to make myself comfortable. I sat down on the couch and waited for Scarlett whilst using my phone. I texted my brother to tell him I was going to come home late; he had been staying with me in Canada because he said, and I quote, it was really hot in America. I heard Scarlett coming down and I quickly put my phone back into my pocket. I looked at her and saw that she was wearing a sweatshirt and some sweatpants. I grabbed my bag and said,

"I have some more comfortable clothes in here. Where is the bathroom so I can change?" She pointed to it and smiled whilst sitting on the couch. I quickly changed into a t-shirt and sweatpants and sat back down on the couch next to Scarlett. She had already picked a movie: It was The Wizard of Oz.

"Don't be surprised but I've never actually seen this movie, so this is the first time." I calmly said to her. Her face dropped.

"WHAT!" She shouted. "You have never seen this?! Oh you are going to enjoy it." She stood up and went to the kitchen. She came back with a bag of popcorn and some M&Ms. She lay down on the couch right next to me and whispered, "Get ready for the best movie you will ever see." She ate an M&M and god, it was hot.
