"Stay on him!" Jungkook shouted to the boys who were not far behind as he leaped onto a nearby car, using it as a springboard to vault himself onto the roof of another. The younger balanced himself precariously on the edge as the man turned a corner, and Jungkook made his move. He ran along the top of the car, using his momentum to launch himself forward, tucking his legs in tight and rolling as he landed on the ground.
Jungkook continued to weave through the rows of cars, vaulting over hoods, sliding under chassis, and leaping from one car to the next. The boys were closing in on the man quickly. Jungkook could see the man looking over at Jungkook, realizing that he was getting closer.
Jungkook saw an opportunity to slow the man down and kicked a car next to him. The impact of the kick made a domino effect with cars bashing into each other, just in time to hit the man, causing him to lose his footing and fall to the ground, dropping the phone he had been clutching.
He ran towards the man and tackled him to the ground, with the other boys quickly joining in to help subdue him. Jungkook felt a surge of adrenaline as he looked down at the man, finding something uneasy about him. The man struggled against Jungkook's painful grip. The mask he wore made it impossible to see his face.
"Start talking," Jimin said, aiming his gun at the man, but he didn't flinch. "What were you trying to do?" Jin demanded, his voice tense. The man sneered, his eyes darting from one member to another. "That's for me to know and you to find out," he said, his voice low and menacing.
"Who do you work for?" Namjoon asked, his voice calm but firm.
"I work for no one," the man replied, but there was a hint of nervousness in his voice, making him squirm. Jungkook narrowed his eyes at the man's mask. "I remember you," he said, his voice low and dangerous. The man's eyes widened, and he stopped struggling for a moment. "What are you talking about?" he asked. "You were there that night when Taehyung was attacked."
The man's eyes darted at Taehyung's fuming face and around the junkyard of cars as if trying to find a way out. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said, his voice growing more strained. Jungkook didn't let up, tightening his grip. "You were there, weren't you? You were the one who attacked him."
The man's head snapped back to look at Jungkook, his eyes widening in shock. "It was you?!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief. "I remember your face! You fucking dislocated my shoulder!" He shouted with anger, getting closer to the younger's face.
Jungkook stood his ground, his eyes blazing with anger. "You deserved it," The man sneered, his eyes flashing with fury. "You had no right to do that to me!" he shouted. "And you had no right to hurt Taehyung," Jungkook shot back, his voice rising with each word. "Now start explaining yourself, or I'll fucking dislocate your shoulder again! Why did you do it?!" Jungkook's eyes then spark electric blue making the man coward back, tilting his head to the side.
