It's been about a solid week since the situation that occurred with the selfish, Kim Taehyung, dude. Jungkook just wanted to ignore the whole situation but it was the only thing on his mind lately.
What the hell was Jungkook thinking?! He might as well plaster a big sign on himself saying he is doing magic tricks for people who want to see. The worst part is that, out of everyone that knows his secret abilities, it had to be Kim Taehyung.
For all he knows, Taehyung could use this information to destroy Jungkook's reputation or use it to blackmail him. He pulled the covers over his head in frustration as he couldn't sleep. "My life is officially over." Mutters Jungkook to himself, closing his to try and rest, but his mind kept racing.
He moves the covers off his face admiring the big full moon that stood high in the starry sky looming down on the apartment complexes across the street. He sighs. How would his mother react to him taking the job?
They all had deep-seated hate towards Kim Taehyung and his friends, but his mother hates them the most, apparently from a past encounter with them a while back. Jungkook doesn't know the whole story of what happened, but never in his life had he seen his mother that angry. It was somewhat frightening.
Usually, if Jungkook's mom were mad, she would rant to him and feel better about it, but that day when she came stomping home through the front door, she was fuming. She didn't even utter a word to her sons; she just started grouchily throwing couch pillows at anything that moved, which was him or his older brother. Whatever was in her line of sight, to be exact. He remembers trying to calm her down while dodging the throw pillows.
Back to the situation, the job was a good fit for Jungkook. He wanted a job that didn't involve him sitting behind a desk for hours and listening to people bitching about everyday life. It also pays astronomically well, where he can help his family.
Jungkook shifts in his bed, glancing over at the clock on his nightstand.
4:00 am, it reads in bright red writing. Jungkook rubs his face and ruffles up his bed hair. Why was this one direct offer making his life more complicated than it needed to be? If his older brother were here, he would've given Jungkook some words of wisdom talk before hugging him.
"I'm losing my mind." Jungkook lifts his hand, facing the ceiling, as he focuses on igniting a spark in the palm of his hand. His eyes turn blue, and an electric spark appears almost instantly, dancing an elegant dance in his hand. Jungkook narrows his eyes, watching as the spark becomes bigger.
His bedroom door opened, and his mom stood in the doorway in her silky green nightgown with a see-through jacket, looking at her son with concern. Jungkook stares back at her tiredly.
