Third Person P.O.V
It's been about two hours since Class One-A got onto the bus to training camp. After the first hour, they stopped once to use the bathroom, but after that, the next stop would be the training camp.
The bus was filled with several different conversations with music from the radio playing from the speakers. It was as lively as ever. There wasn't exactly a seating order on the bus, just sit with whoever you wanted. However, there was a bit of tension of sorts before entering the bus on the seating arrangement.
Most of the boys seemed oblivious to this, but some were able to notice. Specifically, Shoto. He saw that several individuals wanted to sit with (Y/n), but things calmed down once the "first come, first served" was revealed for the seating order.
In the end, (Y/n) sat at the back of the bus by the left window. Sitting to his right was Kyoka with the rest being Touma and Izuku. The two of them talked to each other about a certain blonde hair girl they knew. While they did this, Kyoka and (Y/n) were listening to music together. From the bus? No, they were sharing wired earbuds and listening to all types of music together.
Were they talking? No. The two were just vibing. Though some individuals would glance back at the two, some curious, others were feeling a different kind of emotion. It certainly didn't help when (Y/n) brought out his phone, and the two laughed at whatever he would share with her.
Nevertheless, Izuku and Touma would smile at least when they saw this. After everything that had happened and the situation that (Y/n) found himself in. It was nice seeing him smiling and enjoying himself again.
However, (Y/n) never stopped feeling it. The pain and weight on him. He feels so tired, and ...he tries not to take as many naps as he used to. It wasn't that he wasn't sleepy, but he's... worried. That if he closes his eyes, even for a few seconds, then that was it for him. That he would finally reach his expiration date.
October, the month he was supposedly going to die if he could manage to hang in long enough. But he's been hanging on for years and now... it was becoming too much.
There were so many times where he thought to himself.
"Just close your eyes and rest.", "The world would be fine without you here.", "If you just die, you never have to worry about hurting anyone again."
These were the things he would think to himself and there were more than enough times where he was tempted to do so. To just give up. Then he would look over to... them.
His eyes glanced over to Kyoko smiling and laughing, Izuku and Touma talking to each other like old times. His eyes glance back to the rest of the class.
Before, he only had Izuku and Inko to keep him going, but now... "just another day." he tells himself. He wanted to see them all grow up. In the beginning, he only joked to them about calling him "big brother" or "onii-chan", but now, he feels like an older sibling watching over their younger.
But he knows he won't be able to much longer. At the very least, he wants to spend as much time as he can with them... and when the time comes, he'll leave. He'll find a nice secluded place, devoid of all noise, a peaceful place, and die alone.
Honestly, that alone felt too good for someone like him. But for now, he'll continue to act fine. For them. He's dear younger siblings. A sudden weight fell upon him as he felt himself closing his eyes.
