Xichen entered Lan Qiren's room, he looked surprised because Lan Zhan, Weiying, and Jiang Cheng were there with serious expressions on their faces.

Xichen, how's your head?" Lan Qiren asked
"Head? What's with Xichen's head? Xichen just felt a little dizzy this morning" he replied
"Huan-ge, don't you find it strange?" Weiying asked
"Strange? Why?" Xichen asked back in confusion
"Last night you met with sect head Xiao, right?" Lan Qiren asked
Xichen nodded "yes, right"
"You took a drink from him?" Lan Qiren asked again
Xichen started to frown "right, why?" He asked
"After that you felt sleepy and lost your balance?" Lan Qiren kept asking
Xichen furrowed his brows again "Shufu, what exactly happened?" He asked
"Sect leader Xiao has put something in your drink. Luckily sect leader Jiang has been watching him from the first time he's been acting weird with you" Lan Qiren explained.
"What?!" Xichen is shocked
"Yes, Zewu-jun. I was always watching him last night, and I saw he was carrying 2 glasses, and before he came to you, he put something into one of the glasses" Jiang Cheng explained
"Then where is leader Xiao now?" Xichen asked
"That's the problem, Xichen. He left so early in the morning, before sect leader Jiang even had a chance to tell me this" Lan Qiren replied
"But Shufu, what does this sect leader Xiao want from Huan-ge?" Weiying asked
"Shufu isn't sure either, A-xian. For now, Xichen is forbidden to leave the mountain" Lan Qiren said

"Xichen retire now" Xichen saluted and left
Lan Qiren and Jiang Cheng were now alone, Jiang Cheng sat facing Lan Qiren "clan leader Jiang, what do you want to talk to me about" Lan Qiren asked
"May I stay at Gusu Lan for a few days?" He asked
"Sure, but if I may know, why?"
"I'm afraid that this Xiao will do something, he even dared to drug Xichen on their first meeting. I... I want to protect him" Jiang Cheng said firmly
