Xichen felt uneasy in his sleep, he shifted his position from right to left, his eyes were closed but his face depicted annoyance "Jiang Cheng has been gone for five days without news, tomorrow if he doesn't come back, I will go to Yunmeng"
In the morning Xichen was meditating with Lan Zhan, after meditating for three hours Xichen finally opened his eyes
"How is it?" Lan Zhan asked
Xichen started to make movements with his hands, he then smiled "my jindan is fully recovered!" He said happily
Lan Zhan smiled a little "good" then his expression turned cold again "ge" he called out in a serious tone
"Hmm?"
"Actually there is something I want to tell you, it's about Yunmeng"
Xichen widened his eyes "what's wrong? Did something happen!" Xichen asked frantically
"If I tell you, I hope you stay calm and don't be rash"
"Wangji, tell me now!" Xichen demands
"Actually, Yunmeng was attacked by Wenwu sect troops who wanted revenge. They knew you were married to Jiang Cheng, and they couldn't accept that."
"What!" Xichen shouted in surprise
"Jiang Cheng ordered not to tell you, but last night a letter from Yunmeng came and asked me for help. Weiying and I will be there"
Xichen stood up "I will come"
"No!" Lan Zhan strictly forbids
"Why? Wangji, he's my husband. I have to help him" Xichen protested
"I promised Jiang Cheng to keep you here"

"Did you understand everything I said?" Lan Zhan asked

"Lan Zhan" Jiang Cheng called out, his voice sounded very serious
"What is it?" Lan Zhan replied "Can I ask you a favor?" He asked
"What's that?"
"I'm leaving, Wenwu's sect, they want to take revenge on me. They attacked Yunmeng, and I don't know if I will survive or not"
Lan Zhan widened his eyes "what about my brother, does he know?"
Jiang Cheng shook his head "no. I won't tell him"
"So what do I want to do?"
"Please don't let him know about this. And if he finds out, please don't let him go to Yunmeng. I don't want him to get hurt, I don't want anything to happen to him."
Lan Zhan nodded "hm"
Flashback end
"Fuck it with Jiang Cheng's stupid request!" For the first time Xichen cursed, he was about to go out "I'm going to Yunmeng!"
Suddenly Lan Zhan patted him on the shoulder from behind and made Xichen stiff as a rock
"Wangji what are you doing!"
"I'm sorry, I can't let you go"
"Wangji, let me go" Xichen asked
"No" Lan Zhan then put his arm around Xichen and helped him walk. Even though Xichen wanted to reject him, but his body betrayed him and followed Lan Zhan
"Wangji, where are you taking me?" Xichen asked
"Back to Hansi" Lan Zhan replied curtly
They arrived at Hansi, Lan Zhan sat Xichen on the bed. Xichen looked at Lan Zhan with a face full of disappointment "Wangji, please let me go. I want to go to Yunmeng"
"I'm sorry, Ge. I can't. The binding spell will be gone in two hours, but I will still seal Hansi until Jiang Cheng returns" Lan Zhan then walked away
"I know you will definitely be disappointed in me, but I have no choice" Lan Zhan then left Hansi, there was a voice from behind the door, Xichen assumed Lan Zhan had recited the sealing spell all over Hansi. Xichen just closed his eyes
