"Y/n!!! Is it true?" Nejire runs up to me

"Is what true?"

"Are you really not coming to school anymore after today because you already passed all your exams?!"

'How the hell...'

Will Y/n Bakugo please come to the guidance office

'Great'

"Principle nezu, you wanted to see me"

"Yes y/n." He takes a deep breath. "It's come to my attention that Hawks has been taking you out of school for long periods of time"

"Principle Nezu I'm very sorry if this is about school work I can catch up-"

"Oh no Y/n you don't have to worry about that. I was going to propose that you stop coming and focus on hero work. Being that you've already taken you exams and passed with flying colors nonetheless, I figure this would be the best option for you."

'Stop...coming to school?'

"Y/n, you've always been a very bright student, now that Hawks is taking you out so much, you're practically already his sidekick. There's no need for you to continue here. You're all set now"

He's right. There's nothing left for me here. I don't have any reason to stay. I don't have friends anymore, I don't have a reason to participate in training, and my curriculum has already been fulfilled.

"If that's the best option, then yes I'll do it"

He smiles and nods. "It's been a pleasure to have you as a student here, Y/n. UA was lucky to have you." I smile and bow before leaving.

No, UA wasn't lucky to have me, I was lucky to have UA, and to be accepted by them as a hero in training. They could have done without me, but would I have done without them? Probably not, I probably wouldn't have become a hero.

"Hey kid" Hawks speaks up. "You're done?"

"Yeah...I'll be a hero full time now"

"Welcome officially to being a hero." He smiles before leading the way out of the school.

Officially being a hero, I no longer will put on my uniform every morning and walk to school. Instead I'll go to the agency and work to make the world a better place, to save others from villains.

"You can start tomorrow. Take the rest of the day off. We're still on high alert though so I'll walk you home"

The walk is fairly silent, there isn't very much for me to say to him, nor him to say to me. Once arriving home, mom comes out to ask why I'm home too early and Hawks explains everything to her. She was ecstatic that I managed to finish high school as well as hero training in two years, as well as land a place to work. I make my way upstairs to my room, dropping my stuff down and throwing myself on my bed, getting my blanket to cover myself while I stare up at the ceiling, trying to take everything in. Nejire probably will tell Mirio and Tamaki, but I doubt I'll talk to either of them after this. After a few months of work too, I'll be able to move out and get my own apartment, but would I really be able to handle myself all alone? I grab my phone quickly and decide to text Dabi

Y/n: Hey, you buys rn?

After a few seconds, he responds

Dabi: Hello little hero, no i'm not but shouldn't you be at school?

Y/n: Long story, want to meet and hang out? I kinda need to talk

Dabi: I know a place. Meet me at the alley in 10
