You walked through endless hallways with Alex, constantly looking behind you to see if the SCP's were still following. Thankfully, they were.

You look at the doors, not recognizing them much. Then, you hear a voice. "Hey, how do you feel about this breach? It's longer than the others I've been in.."

Her eyes were dimming, looking less happy. I guess finding someone to talk to doesn't keep you happy for long if you're the only one talking...

"Well, I haven't been here long. I've only been in a few short breaches. This has been the longest one. How long has it lasted?" You answered and asked.

"Oh, you haven't been here for a while? Well, it's been at least 4 hours.." 4 hours? That's a long time. The longest breach I've been in is an hour long.

"That's quite a while... What's the longest one you've been in?" You ask her. "Well... The longest I've been in was a week long. But that breach had.... Unwelcome guests.."

Unwelcome guests? Who would they be?..... "Who were these unwelcome guests?" You ask in concern. "The unwelcome guests.. They weren't really that important. They just caused chaos and messed things up."

That sentence... Is she trying to tell me something?... No... I must be imagining things.

"Anyway, I'm kind of tired. Let's take a break!" She said enthusiastically. You look at her. She had sweat on her forehead, which was a sign she was tired. But you were only walking, you weren't even sweating that much with your helmet on.

Hm...

"Alright, let's get some rest." You say and then walk to a hallway to your left. She follows and sits down on the wall against you. "It's been a while since I've made a friend."

Friend? Does she consider me a friend? "Really? Why's that?" You ask, concerned and confused. "Disadvantages of being a "girl"... And really bad social skills. I get nervous easily and sweat a lot."

Ah. I see. That's why she was so excited and talked so much. But why does it feel like she was spitting venom when referring to herself as a girl?.. It's probably because of the "disadvantages." That should be the reason, right? It also explains why she was sweating much more than me. I didn't talk much, so she must've been worried that I didn't like her.

"Did they belittle you for being a girl?" You ask her softly. "Yeah. But I beat them all up. They were practically begging for mercy. Crying on their knees with bloody faces." You had noticed her disgust when you mentioned her being a girl. But it was so quick, you decided it was just your imagination.

Don't mess with Alex. Noted. "I see... That's good." That was all you could say, it was an unexpected answer.

She yawned and stretched her arms and back. "Well... I'm gonna take a nap." She promptly lays down on the floor and immediately falls asleep.

Once you make sure she's asleep, you turn to another hallway. "Hey, you can come out now.," You whisper to the SCP's quietly.

The three walk out and sit beside you. But they made sure to stay a safe distance to be able to hide when needed.

"Who is she?" 035 asks. "She's Alex. And she's apparently my new friend." You reply. "That's great, and you seem much more calm and relaxed when around her." 049 says.

"That offends me somehow." Wha? "I don't know why, don't ask me." 035 bluntly states, looking directly at you. Okay....

"Ah, right, I need to check your injuries." 049 suddenly says. "Oh, yeah, right." You take your armor off and put them on the ground softly. Alex moves a bit, but doesn't wake up.
