Leah POV

I was slowly drifting back into consciousness when I felt a pair of arms lift me up. I wasn't fully aware of what was happening, but I heard the person's footsteps take me somewhere, and then I heard a door opening.

I assumed we were walking into a house, and I finally managed to pry open my eyes. They opened slowly, but they recognised my surroundings. I was back in Giorgia's house. How did I get here? Oh, right. There was a person carrying me.

My gaze turned to the person's face, and immediately recognised him as Vlado. My brain turned for a bit, trying to figure out why he was carrying me, but then it remembered the events of earlier on. I stretched my legs out slightly, gaining Vlado's attention.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?"

I waved him off. "No, it's fine." I looked to where he was carrying me, and noticed he was heading up the stairs, and I pulled a face.

"What's wrong?" He asked when he noticed my expression.

"Nothing, I just don't really feel like sleeping right now," I explained, and noticed the T.V to my right. "I'd rather watch something."

"But we're driving back tomorrow. Wouldn't you rather get some sleep so you don't feel like you drove through a brick wall in the morning?"

"Nah, you're driving us anyway, so you're the one who needs to get sleep." I patted his arm and he set me down with a confused expression.

"I thought you would want to drive with Clarke or Theo?"

I thought for a moment. "They would probably want to drive together again, seeing as you are 'always brooding'." I giggled when Vlado let out an annoyed groan and walked towards the couch. I reached for the remote, but Vlado snatched it off the table before I could.

I whipped my head to him and gave him an offended look, but he just held the remote above his head and tutted.

"Uh, uh, uh! If we're going to watch something, I'm picking."

My mouth dropped and I shook my head. "Nuh-uh, I haven't watched anything for a while, and I want to pick!"

Vlado smirked. "Well, too bad. I'm picking." I let out a huff and sunk back into the couch with a pout. Vlado just laughed and sat next to me, turning on the T.V.

"Alright, I'll let you pick the genre though," he said as he got onto Netflix. "What do you want?"

I sat up and put a hand on my chin, thinking of all the options.

"I want to watch..." I trailed off as he scanned through the genres available on Netflix.

"Horror?"

I pulled a face and looked at him. "Horror? What are you, dumb? No, it's like you're asking to be traumatised for a month."

He laughed. "You've never watched a horror movie?"

I folded my arms. "Of course I have, I don't live under a rock. But watching them in the early morning is like asking the Grim Reaper if you can die."

Vlado chuckled and looked back at the T.V. "All right then, so what do you want to watch?"

"For that horror mention, I want to watch something happy. Something nostalgic." I turned to him. "So basically any kids movie."

Vlado rolled his eyes and sighed. "Seriously? If I get caught watching a kid's movie, my reputation will be ruined."

I shrugged. "Tough luck." Vlado looked at me and scoffed in fake offence.

"Wow, that is cold."

I put a hand on my chest and grinned. "Aww, thank you." My smile dropped. "Now pick a movie."
