It has already been a week after the shocking, unbelievable event had happen and Aria had yet to slowly accept the reality of the genie's existence. Though she still half-heartedly believed the whole thing, Aria had not yet summoned the genie as she was still in the state of confusion.

"Aria, we need to talk." She turned to face her door as she heard her mother.

"What is it mother?"

"Answer me honestly Aria, where did you get the money?" Aria remained silent as she was debating if she would tell her about the genie or not.

"Do you believe in magic?" Her mother confusedly asked what was she suddenly talking about as Aria decided to tell her about the Genie.

"Back in Sagada, I found this weird kettle and-"

before she was about to finish her story, her mother stood abruptly as she glanced at her with widen eyes as though she already knew the whole story.

"A k-kettle?" Aria nodded though she was confused.

"Do you know something about this, mother?" Her mother was taken aback with her daughter's question. A long moment of silence then her mother just left without a word, leaving Aria confused.

It was noon by then and Aria, unknowingly fled to the hilltop where she last encountered the genie. A moment of silence as she decided to take out the kettle from her bag. She weirdly brought the kettle with her since the incident in the hilltop where she was seated now.

"What are you, really?" Taking all her courage out, she decided to summon the genie again as she momentarily stopped asking herself how to summon it. After a moment of brainstorming, she remembered one thing that has made the genie come out from the golden kettle. She rubbed the lid of the kettle and smiled at the glowing response of it.

"You have summoned me, my lady."

"I have a question. Actually, I have lots of questions." The man remained unmoved as Aria continued to talk with mustered courage within her.

"What's your name?"

"I am called Gowther, my lady."

"Gowther? Okay, I am Aria. Call me Aria instead of my lady." Gowther, yet again remained silent but his gaze were directly situated at Aria.

"Where are you from?"

"From the land of magic." Confused, Aria remained silent as though waiting for him to continue.

"Magus is where I am originally from thus, 'tis long agone has it been since my clan had been caged within this dark, diminutive cage."

"Why?" Curiosity kicked in out of Aria and she has forgotten about the fear and nervousness she had been feeling having the presence of Gowther, the mysterious man.

"Apologies, but I shall end it with that, my lady." Though the coldness of his voice, Aria unbelievably had not felt anything anymore like the usual.

Days passed so fast as Aria grew fond of the mysticism of the kettle and Gowther himself. Those usual times when she was alone became the time of where she would summon the genie. Having this sudden change of the lady, Chester had been confused of it as she had not been the usual girl he had known for not so long. Her mother, on the other hand, instead of feeling bliss of her daughter's change of emotions, she had grew worried of why she had to change in a way she had been avoiding.

A usual noon break had yet again come as Aria sat wordlessly at the usual hilltop she used to stay. Thinking of how she would pay her tuition fee for the last semester of her last year in middle school.

"I will grant any wish, you just have to say the magic words, my lady." Gowther, having to notice Aria's sudden silence, she just glanced at him and smiled.

"No, let me save those two last wishes for later. Once is enough for a wish wasted." The guy remained his cold gaze at the lady giggling.

Gowther, slowly without noticing, grew fond of Aria's not so cheerful attitude. Though he always has this nature of being cold, he was always doubtful of every new thing he had with the presence of Aria. Not so long ago, Gowther was once a happy, cheerful genie like any other genie in their clan. Being so much unaware of what was happening in their world, he grew conscious of his every action plus his role of being the crown prince of their clan. Not even able to have realize the state of his people, he blamed himself with all the sufferings of his clan which had froze his entirety.

"You have ceased the growth of a larger problem because of your wish, you shouldn't say it is ravaged, my lady."

"Can't you just talk casually? Call me Aria from now this day onward." The lady demanded instead as Gowther remained silent.
