*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

I subconsciously turn off the alarm and flip on my back

I sigh and get up to get ready for my first class of the new school year

Getting in the shower I stand in the hot water and note that I need to get laid...soon

I've been feeling like I'm missing something lately.

Like that weird feeling when you're craving something you've never had before

Not to sound cocky but I'm not an unattractive man, and getting laid has never been a problem for me

But having women fall at my feet isn't as satisfying as some might think

I want a woman to speak her mind, not just agree with everything I say and follow me around like some dog

I want someone to call my own. Someone I can show my...other side to

And I plan on finding her..

I step out of the shower and finish my morning routine

I throw on some black and white suit

I guess I'm feeling fancy today

I get my things together and head to class

...................................

I open my door at 4:59 and get class started

Taking attendance took a bit longer than usual

My class was filled. I guess there's going to be a lot of group projects

I look at my roster and see I have a missing student

'She better not be running late. How do you come late to your first class of the year?'

'Whatever'

I shake my head and begin to introduce myself

Then suddenly my door busts open..and the most beautiful girl walks through my door

She was wearing a super sized t-shirt and some baggy sweatpants

I've never seen someone who looks like they just jumped out of bed look so good

She had a dark mocha complexion, a cute button nose, and the most suckable lips I've ever seen

She was gorgeous

She was looking around the room, most likely searching for someone

'What if she has a boyfriend? What if she doesn't find you attractive? What if...'

I asked myself a million questions but pushed them out of my mind quickly

"Excuse me. Who are you?"

I asked this Goddess standing in front of me

She looked back at me and stared

I stood there almost in a trance waiting for her to respond

"I'm going to say that again. Who. Are. You."

I make sure to keep my composure. I think I look a bit scary but thats ok

She finally answers and I can hear her angelic voice say

"Um my name is Ruby, Ruby Carter"

I look at the clock. 5:05

"You're late"

"I'm so sorry, I- I set my alarm but I guess I slept through it"

I can understand, she slept through her alarm
