Soundwave is back in the Nemisis serving under Lord Megatron. Everything feels correct, even though his loyalty to the Decepticon cause is often called into question. It's almost like Soundwave has never gone to the Autobot side. Almost never. Many bots keep bring it up but he doesn't even remember being there. Now the surveillance chief is under constant surveillance by Starscream who doubts Soundwave with all his spark. Even though he truly doesn't care about Soundwave, he wants to rid of him so he can have more chance of taking the position as leader. Will Soundwave ever go back to the confused autobots?
