Chapter 15

Jennie's POV

"Komowayo!" I said with a baby voice when Jisoo Unnie came over our house to surprise me with a cake for my birthday.

She gave me a teasing look. "You're 25 now, Jendeuk! Stop being a baby." She laughed while we sit in the couch in the living room.

Rosé is on her way now. I want to celebrate my birthday with an intimate dinner with mom and some close friends. Sadly, Lisa's in China for Youth With You, and right now that woman might forgot my birthday.

"Unnie, age doesn't stop me being your baby." I pouted while she's taking a picture of me with the cake she gave me.

She smirked. "Yeah, right! Lisa's baby to be exact." I rolled my eyes hearing her name.

She's been there for  2 months now. And for those long days without her in our dorm, I already missed her presence. Her hugs, her kisses, her scent, her everything. There were times that I throw tantrums on her over the phone when I saw the episode about Esther Yu. Like I'm super jealous.

I put the cake on the table then give her my straight face. "Shh. Stop mentioning that duck's name!" I walk to the dining room checking mom setting the table.

"Why? What did the monkey do this time?" She tailed behind me. She pick her favorite food. Chicken. Nothing new. She took a bite. She moaned. "Tita, this taste so good!" She told mom who's now getting the wine.

Mom gave me a present too, it's blue roses. All my birthdays won't be complete without her giving blue roses.

Mom laughed. "Well, I need to cook delicious for my baby, Jisoo." Mom hugged me for a second. " Where is Rose?" She looked at Jisoo.

"She's on her way, Tita. She said she's kinda traffic." She said while typing on her phone.

"Oh, okay. You mentioned about monkey? Did you go to the zoo, Ruby Jane?" Mom asked. Jisoo and me both laughed.

"Tita, we're talking about, Lisa. I called her monkey cause she looks like one." She laughed. Mom nodded while slightly slapping Jisoo's arm. "What did Lisa do?"

I quietly said. "She didn't greet me! Can't you believe it ,mom! Now, tell me you don't look her anymore." I rolled my eyes. Stomping my feet while walking to the door .

"Well, I still like her!" Mom shouted. Whatever mom!

Our door bell rang. That must be Rosé or Chahee. I invited Seulgi and Irene but they're both non in Seoul right now.

"Happy Birthday, Unnie!" Chipmunk hugged me after I closed the door. She gave me present that was put in an expensive papee bag.

"Thank you, hubby." I kissed her cheeks.

I sit on the couch, ready to open the gift she had for me, when she panicked and stop me. "Later, Unnie." She whispered. "Open it when you're alone already." I furrowed my brows.

She walked to the dining room kissing mom. "Tita!" Now, I'm curious.

Chahee called me earlier she can't make it since the Ronnefeldt cafe is busy, they lack manpower, I was so pissed at her that I almost cried. First, my girlfriend forgot my special day. 2nd, my best friend cannot come.

We ate dinner after they sing  'Happy Birthday' song to me. I told them not to, but they still insist so the 'baby' will get happy.

We are now drinking wine while we narrate to mom the stupid things we do in the dorm. I'm kinda tipsy, blame Lisa! I need to sleep without calling that duckling and nag her all night.
