Johnny looked around at the people in masks and hoped for a game him and mark could make it out of. They both went into the games for reasons that seemed so small now. Johnny only kept coming back cause he knew mark was coming back time after time. Johnny begged and pleaded for mark to stop after red light green light but he kept saying no. Mark kept pushing his luck he wanted no he needed the money for reasons that he never wanted to share with Johnny. Mark knew he was the only thing keeping Johnny in the games and that was his job. He was an undercover player he was never in danger as long as he kept motivating others to keep coming to the games. However he and Johnny had been friends long before these games. Johnny was like his big brother and he cared about him like no else had cared for mark before. However mark never knew what game was coming up he only knew he was the one that wouldn't be die. And so he saw no reason to join up with Johnny when they asked for everyone to pair up and sad to say there was one person who had no one to pair up with and as the shut the doors everyone heard the echoing of a gunshot which was a sign that a life had been taken all for entertainment of the rich that to much money and to much time. They walked into a replica of a Korean neighborhood each him and Johnny held ten marbles. And as the instructions were given Johnny grew a somber expression. And mark wanted to cry and tried to think of a way for him to go in place of Johnny. Mark knew he couldn't live without Johnny. So he slowly started secretly putting his marbles into Johnny pocket. But little did he know Johnny knew what he was doing and put them in a bag and once he had them all he put them into marks pocket. And mark stood up and tried to get the attention of the guards attention and told them he lost when Johnny came told him he was wrong. "what do you mean you lost I have no marbl." Mark took his hand out of his pocket to present a pouch full of marbles. "what why Johnny WHY WOULD YOU THIS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU." Johnny smiled and spoke with words that hit Mark so hard he fell to his knees "I chose to die for the little brother that I found and love. I wouldn't be able to go on knowing I could have stopped your death." Mark watched as the guard pulled the trigger and the big brother he had found fell to the ground. Mark crawled to the body of his brother and cried and screamed his voice cracking and breaking under the strain of his cries. It came time for the bodies to be removed and the live players to be moved to the other room but Mark didn't want to move he couldn't leave Johnny and tried everything he could to stay but he eventually was forced to move. He stopped working for the games and starting planning for revenge. He knew he wouldn't make it through the plan but that didn't matter. All that mattered was revenge for his brother who he'd never laugh with again.
