《Y/n's POV》
Wedding planners are everywhere in the mansion, making sure everything is perfect for tomorrow.

I have one more plan. Pure resistance of this marriage, it's all I have left.

I beg Sukuna "Please call off this stupid wedding and marry someone else!" He marks off the papers for the guest list and says "No".

I snap "I am going to ruin your final planning", Sukuna laughs and says "I'd like to see you try".

I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow, I walk out the door.

Diana spots me and says "Mistress! You have to try on your wedding dress!"

She drags me to my room which is not too far away and helps me in the dress along with a few dress makers assessing how I fit into it.

Diana pulls on the corset strings, my lungs loose most of their oxygen from how tight she's strangling my body.

I say in a strained voice "No offence- but this is the ugliest wedding dress in history".

I gesture to the dark green frizzy accessories on the dress against the white.

One of the dress makers plays with his measuring tape and says "I told you green and frilly stuff doesn't work with weddings Tiana".

The other dress maker named Tiana growls "What do you know? Weddings are boring! We need something that makes the crowd dazzle!"

The man snaps "We don't need to make the crowd dazzle, we need to focus on what she will look like with her groom! It's her wedding day!"

The two dress makers fight and take the argument with them when they walk out my room and down the hall.

Liam and Penny invite themselves in, Liam says feeling uneasy at the sight of my dress "You look... Nice?"

I say immediately "No I don't, you don't have to lie. I am so not wearing this!"

I wedge myself out of the dress, Diana yelps "Miss you have to wear it!" She notices Liam's existence and says frantically "Y/n! There is a male present in the room! No other male can see your body unless it's Sukuna!"

I crawl out of the dress in my undergarments and say "I'm sorry but I'm not wearing that shit".

Liam stares at the ceiling and says "It's alright I ain't looking".

I say in pure honesty "Look, I don't care what Sukuna thinks, I don't care if you see me Liam, I doubt you'd be the type of man to chuck themselves at a woman just because they are undressed".

Liam says flustered "I-I know, it's just I respect you, I don't want to look at you without concent".

Penny gives me her massive jacket, if it wasn't obvious already, Penny is a very tall and wide lady but that doesn't make her any less nice and kind.

I thank her and say "I have an idea for that shifty dress, let's ruin Sukuna's plan and burn the dress! No wedding!"

Diana says nervously "That sounds a bit too harsh Miss..."

We all look at her unamused, Penny says happily "Welp! I'll burn it!" She picks up the dress and says "I will be right back".

Liam asks "Y/n, are you covered?" I reply "Yes".

He looks down to see the big brown jacket I am encased in.

He smiles softly, I say "Let's go have a look around for something else to ruin".

Liam nods and takes a walk with me. Diana yelps "But Mistress-" she sighs seeing I'm gone.

Liam and I laugh as we watch the animal keeper in the mansions garden accidently drop the bag of duck food in the pond.

We walk around the massive garden that could be mistaken for a forest.

We find a garden gazebo with moss growing around the wooden posts and lights hung up for the wedding tomorrow.

We step inside and relax against the wood, I say "It's crazy, you made me forget this hell hole of a wedding tomorrow".

Liam asks curiously "Have you ever thought about running away?" I reply "I won't lie, I did and tried to, but then I remembered all the people still in the mansion working for Sukuna".

Liam asks while running a hand through his black hair, his beautiful amber eyes looking deeply at me "Where are you from?"

I reply "I am from a town not just far from here, I used to work in a market to put food on the table for my parents."

He thinks for a moment and says "I think I know that town, I used to live with Penny in a house in the woods nearby since we are cousins".

I ask amazed "You two are cousins? I would never had thought, that's so sweet".

Liam smiles and says "Penny and I needed a job because we needed money to keep living in the house, that's how we ended up working for Sukuna, he approached us with the offer".

His smile falls and says "Of course we were fooled".

I swirl my finger in the dust of the wood in front of me and ask "Did you really used to date Rose?"

Liam says with a scoff "She was a mistake! I should never have fallen for that! I really thought she was a good person until I saw her kissing up to Sukuna!"

I ask "What happened? O-of course it's okay if you don't want to tell me".

I feel my face burn, he replies "Well... She had nothing to do with Sukuna at the time she was with me. I loved her, she pretended back so she could get to Sukuna and it pained me when I had to break up with her..."

I say with sympathy "She's gone now, hopefully she might be out of the way of you".

Liam takes my hand and says with determined eyes "Sukuna doesn't deserve you".
