《Y/n's POV》
My feet start to hurt after sprinting over concrete for a long time.

I make it to town and start walking breathlessly, seeing the street lights gave me the feeling of hope that I'm almost home.

I think back to what Sukuna told me; "Having you as a wife isn't good enough!"

I rest a hand on my chest and roughly pull it back a bit, I think 'Why did my heart do that? Why did it ache and swell with excitement when he confessed?'

I shake my head, with each weak step I took my body limped from the pain in each of my toes and the pads of my feet.

'He ruined my life, why does he pull at me though?'

My face flares up in red with the image of him under me in the forest.

I whine in confusion and disgust in myself, I end up walking into a woman.

I apologise, when I look up I see it's Rosella holding an umbrella looking down at me with a glare.

She asks "What's a little rat like yourself doing out here alone?"

I reply awkwardly "It's nothing really-" Rose cuts me off and says "Sukuna finally got bored of you didn't he".

I shake my head and say "No... It's not that-" She hushes me and says "You look like a drowned rat, come".

As she walks the rain water that falls onto the edge of her umbrella trickles on my head making me feel cold.

Rose doesn't seem to care, she stares off in front of her with no emotion what so ever.

She has bags under her eyes and a cigarette in her mouth.

We walk for a few minutes before Rose starts talking again, she asks "So, why are you out here?"

I say as a stream of water continues to flow down my face, "I don't want to be around Sukuna right now..."

She asks after blowing out smoke from her mouth "Why is that?"

I say slowly "No offence... But I don't really trust you fully".

She says annoyed "Just answer the god damn question", I hesitantly reply "Sukuna said something, something that made me uncomfortable, something that made me question myself and my own feelings".

Rose stops and says "He told you he loves you, didn't he?" I am unsure of what to say, I look at her, Rose's eyes are watery.

She snaps "He told you the one thing he has never told anyone before, didn't he?"

I reply trying to ease her "No, not really- he just said-".

Rose grabs my arm and says "You bitch! You got everything I wanted! Just when I thought those fires would consume you or him!"

She grits her teeth, pain inflicted on her face. I say shocked "You set the fire on the mansion?"

A black car pulls up, the window slides open and Sukuna says bluntly "Get in, Y/n".

Rose stares down at me with rage, I look between the two and say "Why can't you two sort things out instead!?"

Sukuna looks at me like I'm stupid and says "I am not getting back with that bitch, Y/n. Now get in the car".

Rose says with surprised laughter "It looks like she doesn't want you either!" She grabs my shoulder and forces me to look directly into Sukuna's eyes.

I blurt "Rose set the fire", Sukuna stares at me for a moment, he gets out of the car and punches Rose in the jaw.

To her shock she stumbles back and covers her mouth, blood spits out her gums.

Sukuna grabs Rose by the shirt and shoves her against the nearest wall. He shouts "You tried to kill us!? Why are you harassing my girl?"

I take a few steps back and break into a run, Sukuna hears my footsteps and curses.

He pulls out his phone and calls the police.

I try to run as fast as I can, leather shoes start making their way into my hearing.

My heart drops as four arms snake themselves around my body.

I squirm feeling myself stuck in my tracks, Sukuna refuses to let go at all costs.

I yell "What is wrong with you!?"

Sukuna growls "What's wrong with me is that you ran away! You had me worried!"

I turn around in his arms and punch his chest multiple times, I scream "YOU RUINED MY LIFE! You abused me! You threatened my family! You threatened my friends! You told me Liam is a lie! You have taken everything from me!"

My voice cracks, I burst into tears and ask "How can you expect me to love you? How do I love you? After everything you did!?"

He rests his forehead against mine and says "I don't know... But remember the jokes we had with eachother, the feelings you felt, did that seem fake?"

I reply confused "No..." He smiles and asks "Then why waste what good we had in the process? Despite the hurt we both faced."

I say worriedly "I don't think I can handle that though-".

Sukuna takes my chin and leans in, he freezes inches away and stares at my lips.

I hesitantly takes his face in my hands and connect our lips gently.

I blush and deepen our kiss, my legs grow weak in realization to the man I am kissing and he tightens his grip on my body so I don't fall.

I grab the hem of his kimono and his shoulder so I have something to hold onto.

He slowly slides down to the ground with me and continues to make out with me passionately in the rain.

I break the kiss and laugh nervously, I say "Maybe not in public..."

Sukuna gives me a soft smile, I ask in realization "Wait, what happened to Rose?"

Sukuna replies "With the police, she will hopefully be going to jail".

Sukuna drives me back to the cottage with a hand on my thigh.

When we pull into the driveway we see Liam standing on the deck holding a knife to Itadori's neck staring directly at us.
