The next day, I help Itadori put together a small puzzle, piece by piece on the floor.

Sukuna sits on the sofa menacingly looking down at us, resting his cheek in his fist.

He parts his lips to speak then decides to close them.

He then asks "Did you eat it?" I place a piece down in the puzzle and ask "I'm sorry, what?"

Sukuna clears his throat unsure  if he should clarify or not and says "The mango..."

I nod, however, I don't like the small talk, it's getting under my skin.

As I hope he doesn't ask anymore questions he asks, "Why do you care for that little runt?"

Itadori looks at his Father cautiously, I say as my tone grows in an unhappy manner "Someone has to look after him, and it sure as hell won't be you. At least I care for him".

Sukuna shoves his foot into my back pressing forcefully, I grunt and snap "What the hell is your problem!?"

He replies "You..." He pulls his leg back and kicks me hard in the side.

I pluck weeds out of the garden outside with Penny, it's the least I can do since she is letting me stay at her cottage.

Liam taps my shoulder and asks "Hey Y/n, can I talk to you in private for a minute?"

Liam leads me to his room and locks the door, he rests his hand on the wood and let's a deep breath go.

He then turns to me and says "I've been thinking a lot about what you told me yesterday at the park..."

I blush and say "Oh- I... What are you thinking?"

He smiles and says with a soft laugh "I want to take my opportunity- b-before... You know".

He hesitantly takes the bottom hem of his singlet and slowly pulls it over his head.

I say worriedly "Liam... Are you sure? You weren't comfortable before knowing what Sukuna might do".

Liam replies determinedly "I don't know what it is, but it's like Sukuna isn't that powerful now I got to listen to him complain about pointless stuff".

He takes a step forward and says "I... I want to do this, that bastard doesn't deserve something as precious as you, you said yourself that Rose doesn't deserve me either".

I rest my hand on the wall beside me and say "Liam, it sounds like you only want to do this for revenge".

Liam snaps out of anger "Didn't you want me because you wanted to fuck me?"

I reply cautiously "Liam, I wanted you because whenever I was with you I felt butterflies, you even made me excited to be by your side. I didn't want my first time to be with a man I didn't feel something for".

Liam backs down in embarrassment, he says shocked "Shit! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lash out at you".

He covers his mouth his face turning red. I ask taking his shoulders gently "Are you nervous about something?"

Liam nods slowly and says "Maybe I am still a little intimidated by Sukuna... You're his wife."

I cup his face and kiss his lips.

Everything moves so quick, his hands trace my body on the mattress, grunts echo in the room, heat rises in the atmosphere before simply my eyes close.

I wake up after the sound if thundering fists banging against the door, I lay on a sticky warm body.

Liam is fast asleep to the noise. I shake him, fear striking my body.

Liam's eye lids flutter open, he asks "Hmm?" The sound of thunder against the door rises again, Liam jolts up and shouts "What do you want!?"

He holds me tightly close to his chest.

Sukuna shouts on the other side "WHERE THE FUCK IS MY WIFE!"

Liam looks at me and swallows down hard. He replies "Go ask Penny!"

A drop of sweat falls down his cheek, Sukuna yells "IF I DON'T FIND HER I WILL KILL YOU, GOT IT?"

I squeeze Liam a bit feeling uneasy, Liam pulls the sheets over our lower bodies and says "Got it..."

Once we presume Sukuna has left I attack Liam's lips with my own and whisper "Thank you".

He says "You might have to go see Sukuna very shortly."

I nod and get out of his sheets, he sighs in relaxtion and falls onto his stomach sliding his hands under his pillow.

As I am getting changed Liam smirks and says "I really enjoyed that".

I reply with a soft expression "I would love to go on a date with you, if only I wasn't married to that bastard Sukuna".

My smile fades, I notice familiar black markings on Liam's back, beautiful designs in a delicate tattooed circle.

I ask "Where did you get those markings?" He looks at me surprised then chuckles softly, he says "Oh, it's just tattoo's Y/n. They aren't like Sukuna's".

For some reason I doubt it...

I shake it off and say "Thank you again, I really want to spend more time with you, like partners..."

Liam replies "We can, but we have to lay low. I suggest you shouldn't leave out my door, as weird as it is you might want to leave out the window".

I nod trying to hold in a nervous awkward laugh.

I walk towards the forest so it looks like I was outside for a while and scratch at bark on a tree.

Once a piece of bark falls off the trunk reveals to me many insects under it, I yelp in both fright and disgust.

I fall back into Sukuna, he takes my shoulders stealing me and asks angrily "Where were you?"

I squirm out of his grasp and say while holding my arm "I was exploring the forest-".

He inspects me for a while before growling "You shouldn't be going in there by yourself! Last thing I want is-".

I finish his sentence "A dead wife, I know. What is going on with you? You are acting softer".

He clenches his jaw with sour eyes.
