Tattoos

Chapter 13: Tattoos

The day was already well started. It was 10am. The two girls were moving everything that Steph didn't need to live with her girlfriend. During the time she had spent going back and forth from the vinyl store to the Black Lantern she had received help from Ryan who then had to take time off to go to work. She had now almost finished during their last trips; she met Cecilia and Julia who were about to leave.

"Hi. What are you doing" asked Cecilia

"Hello" answered Alex returning politeness "We are moving Steph's things. We are going to live together"

Cecilia was said and replied "Oh great you have decided to take the plunge. You want to help a little, we have a little time before the bus arrives."

"It's nice to propose but we're almost done. It's already nice to have come for Alex's birthday" thanked Steph.

"If you have a problem call us" Cécilia finished before walking away from the two.

She then returns to Alex's apartment to drop off the last items. Steph left one last time to go get Valkyrie. Meanwhile Alex looks at the room in which she was going to live with her girlfriend.

"It's changed a lot now" thought the girl. She had had to get rid of some objects belonging to her brother, she had stored in a room of the bar which had remained unused since its previous closure, she could not resign herself to throwing.

Steph comes back 5 minutes later accompanied by valkyrie "Here is my beauty, this is where we are going to live now

The cat walked over to the bed and grabbed shu-shu, a plush brown mouse that had only one ear left.

"No valkyrie not shu-shu" reacted Alex instantly. She tries to catch the cat who stole her treasure. When she finally grabbed her she took the plush from her mouth, but before she could put it down, Valkyrie scratched her entire right arm.

"Shit" the girl shouted, letting go of the cat abruptly. She then felt a great pain, indeed the chatta had planted itself scratched deeply in Alex's skin which made her bleed a lot.

Steph had attended the whole scene, she was laughing at the situation until she saw that her girlfriend was in pain. She then took a towel and wrapped it around Alex's arm to compress the wound.
"it will be fine" asked Steph

"it could get better" then answered Alex

After 30 minutes, the scratch had stopped bleeding. Alex removes the towel to let out the wound

"It's going to leave a mark," Alex says, reaching out to Steph for her to see the mark.

"Shit. Valkyrie damn you pissed off" Steph got on her nerves knowing that there was no point yelling at her cat.

"calm down" Alex said to her girlfriend then said ironically "don't need to get on your nerves she surely has trouble accepting a rival and arriving in her life"

"Alex it's not funny" replied Steph

"Oh come on it's ok it's not so bad" said the girl with the glasses.

The days passed. Everything was back to normal in Haven Spring, our two protagonists were now planning their trip that would take them to Mexico. She had planned to hold back the audition blow there but this time if she had planned to take their precaution to prevent the drama that had unfolded both from happening again.

She was there in their apartments. The cohabitation was going very well, she was happy. She was lying against each other staring at the ceiling.

"How good we are" said Steph looking at Alex

 Alex confirms Steph's saying and ran her hand through her girlfriend's hair

Steph then grabbed her girlfriend's arm and stared at the scar "She's not going to leave she said

"Who that" asks the other

"Your scar replied Steph by" treating it

"There is nothing we can do about it," said the girl with glasses.

After a short moment of reflection Steph had an idea "I'm not so sure"

"What do you mean" asked Alex who the question had been of interest to

"How about getting tattooed?" Then proposed the girl in the hat

"Get me tattooed" Alex thought about it. Then give an answer "Why not. But only if you do it with me"

"I'm not against" answered Steph immediately "you will have an idea of ​​what you want" asked her girlfriend then

"Me neither" replied Steph

The two girls then took the day to think about it. She thought of all kinds of ideas like a couple tattoo but she was aware that it was a bad idea, or get an animal tattoo but which one ...

After a few days of thinking, they go to a tattoo parlor in the region. After deciding all the details about the tattoo with the tattoo artist. Steph was the first to pass. She had decided to get a tattoo on her left forearm to match the one Alex was going to have on her right forearm.

Once installed, the tattoo artist began the work. Alex was next to watch. When the tattoo artist put down the needle that pricked Steph's arm, she began to clench the tooth.

Alex noticed the aura that emanated from Steph and heard her thoughts "Holy shit it hurts!!" Steph remained 30 minutes in pain and insults in silence while Alex prepared herself to suffer.

When finished Steph stood up and walked over to Alex "Not even bad" she shouted

"If you say so" Alex replied smiling as Steph realized that she knew

Now it was Alex 's turn to move on. She only breathed deeply compared to her girlfriend but felt almost no pain.

Once her tattoo was finished the two girls in turn followed the tattoo artists to a mirror so that she could look at their tattoo. She then looked at the tattoo that was now on their body.

Steph had opted for two intersecting drum sticks with both being a witch's hat symbolizing her love for music, role-playing, and more secretly she hadn't really told Alex but the hat symbolized their part with it. Ethan or she had been able to realize her love for Alex.

For her part, Alex had opted for a guitar that covered her  injury. On the latter was written the initials G.C for Gabe Chen to honor the memory of her brother.

After having passed this stage, she returned to Haven Spring to finalize their departures in Mexico.
