Insémination

Chapter 36: Insemination

It's been a few months since the girls agreed on all the details to be settled. She had gone to see a specialist to find out if she was capable of having a child after having undergone tests. It turned out that Alex was the most fit to carry a child which took a weight off of Alex who may have experienced what it was like to give birth through her experience in Mexico. Once the one who was going to carry the baby had been chosen, they went to see an insemination specialist to find out about this method of having a child. They learned about the different stages in this way. Then they had to complete the formalities to start the process once that was done the specialist prescribed drugs to Alex whose purpose was to stimulate her ovary in order to facilitate fertilization. Several weeks after starting the treatment and a few ultrasounds to ensure that the treatment is working properly. The doctor announced good news to the young couple.

M: “From what I see everything is going as planned we will be able to set a date for the insemination.”

The two girls were overjoyed, she was finally going to be able to get to the end of the tunnel. Because despite the fact that she didn't really show it in public, Alex was increasingly under pressure from Steph's expectations while the girl in the hat was doing everything to appease her love.

S: "that's it, we can finally start"

After a quarter of an hour of reflection, they had finally decided to set the date for next week.

Next week

The time had soon arrived, tomorrow the girls were going to start the first try.

Lying on the bed the couple was chatting together.

S: "You're scared"

A:”Yes, I am a little scared. although I was told it didn't hurt. I'm afraid of not being up to it if it turns out it won't work because of me.”

S: “listen Alex” said the young woman in a reassuring tone “we already talked about it. don't put pressure on yourself. Everything's going to be fine, we'll soon be a great family, you'll be a great mom."

Steph then hugged Alex to show her support. Alex then fell asleep soothed and reassured by Steph's words in her arms.

The next day Alex had been able to rest properly, it had been a while since she had slept well thanks to Steph's presence and the discussion they had had before sleeping Alex was now ready to face her new ordeal.

Around 10 a.m The girls went to a clinic not far from Haen Spring where she could perform the insemination.

Once arrived, the couple enters the building and presents itself to the reception.

S: “hello we are Alexandra and Stéphanie Gingrich we have an appointment at 10:30 am”

receptionist: “Yes indeed go sit in the waiting room I will notify the doctor … of your arrival”

As requested by the hostess, the girls led into the waiting room and took their seats.

A few minutes later, the doctor arrives to take charge of her patient.

Alex then followed the doctor followed by Steph.

She then ushered them into the room where the process was going to take place to get Alex pregnant. In this room there was a seat that would allow Alex's legs to be spread to introduce the samples. After explaining briefly how the process would unfold the doctor invited Alex to take place to begin.

Throughout the maneuver Steph had stayed next to Alex, holding her hand to reassure her and show her that everything was going to be fine.

However there was more fear than harm indeed Alex did not have time to be afraid because insemination had been so fast that it was already finished the doctor raised her head in the direction of Alex

D: "that's it, it's over"

Alex was surprised at how quickly it was done but she was mostly relieved that it happened so quickly.

D: “In 3 weeks do a pregnancy test to see if it worked otherwise you will have to make an appointment. I wish you good luck"

S: “Thank you”
A: “Thank you very much”

Steph and Alex then returned to Haven Spring in the hope that it would work out

The weeks went by and their excitement only increased, she was eager to know the result of the first test even if she was also afraid that it had failed.

After two long weeks of waiting, their impatience was at its peak. It was mid-week when Alex on her lunch break went to the pharmacy to get a test without telling Steph. Once she had bought what she needed, she was back in the flower shop. Alex rushed into the building's bathroom and unpacked the test. She then realized all that needed to be done to use it. After a few minutes when finished, she came out of the bathroom for the time it took for the test to announce its result.

A few minutes later, when it was time to do some tidying up in the shop, she went back to see the test.

She came to the test, took it in her hand, and looked at it.

Tears started to flow from her eyes at the test result. Alex didn't think he was so affected by it.

In the evening Alex had gone home and was waiting for her wife to return to tell her that she had performed a test and that she knew the result.

After waiting for a long time, she had an urge to go to the bathroom. She then went and during the time she spent in the bathroom Steph arrived at that moment.

Steph didn't see Alex in the apartment, so she decided to call her.

S: “Alex! you are the ?"
A: "yes yes I'm in the bathroom I'm coming"

Knowing now where her friend Steph was reassured she put her bag near the table where Alex was waiting for her, that's when something caught her attention. there was a pregnancy test on the table, she made the decision to look at it.

A few minutes later Alex had finished if it was necessary and left the room. At this moment she noticed Steph who was waiting for her with the test in her hand.

S: “you explain to me” she said in a serious tone

A: "Damn it was supposed to be a surprise"

S: "Thank you for accepting Alex"
Steph put the test back on the table, approached Alex and kissed her.

The test came back positive Alex was pregnant
