If you guys are loyal readers, you would know that I've been working as a pediatric nurse for almost 2 years now. I have always had an interest in the NICU, so I took a chance and applied internally. I got the position and now I start next week. I'm super excited! My current manager was so supportive of my transfer.
It is a little bittersweet to switch, since I really do love my current coworkers. They are wonderful people and I will miss working with them. I hope the NICU staff are equally as friendly. I'm excited to try something new and be an ICU nurse :) Come along for the ride (if you want to!) and read about my journey!
