Last week I handed my official resignation in. I am quitting acute care nursing at the end of this month! I accepted a job awhile ago to be a camp nurse this summer. It's a camp specifically for Jewish children (I'm not Jewish or white so I will stick out like a sore thumb lol). I am excited to do something slightly different. But because it's a seasonal job, I really have no plans come September. I should start applying for jobs now. I applied for an RN license for California about 1 1/2 months ago. It's almost done processing I think. I knew it would take a long time, which is why I submitted it SO long ago. Once I get accepted I can apply to jobs in CA! I'm excited and scared to see where my future takes me. I am young but I keep forgetting that. I don't want to have a stagnant and boring life. Taking risks like this is worth it if it means being happier. It is uncomfortable, but it's worth it.
