writers note: so alice's wonderland was kind of the setting and this poem is more of a story to go along with it

lay down your heavy head

on the flowing green meadow bed

drink in

the misty pink air

and the smell of dewy bark

mixed with blue crystal leaves

watch winged creatures

glide in the tinted sky

listen to the clear water

rush over smooth river stones

breath the smell

of warm flowers

basking in the sunlight

fall asleep

and dream

of wonderland

for when you wake

this fantasy

will have drifted away

into the abyss

where all happiness goes

and never returns
