writers note: this is two poems (you will be able to tell when one poem ends and the other begins) both about one person so i put it into one 'chapter'

~1~

when im with you

the rest of the world

crumbles away

like the wall around my heart

evaporating into thin air

when im with you

im walking on clouds

sparkling with pixie dust

wrapped in velvet

drowning in cool clear waters

at peace

~2~

moments with you

make me happy.

listening to cavetown

while eating buttery pastries

walking down a misty street

having nothing but ice cream

and calling it lunch

pouring salt on a restaurant table

to make childish hearts

spinning in a tire swing

looking at your face

the world blurring behind you

i didnt get dizzy once

i was too struck

by you
