It was the day when anubhav came from mission. He first called karishma.

Everyone was doing baketi. Karishma was sitting on her desk trying to focus on her work. Her phone rang. She saw the caller name, it was anubhav. She quickly picked it up and went outside thana.
On call
Ks: Anu bhaiya?
As: behna(he was happy to hear his sister after so long time)
Ks: mission poora ho gaya?( in a low and excited voice)
As: ji( proudly)
Ks: wapas kab aayenge?
As: aaj sham ko..khair aap aaj sham ko ghar aa jayega ratribhojan pe

She went back in thana. PJ saw her smiling.
PJ(in mind): muskura rahi hai...lagta hai lalla ka phone tha( a big smile came on her face)
Ks: ka hua pushpa ji?..aise muskura kahe rahi hai?
Pj: kuch nahi...woh.. aap bataiye na kiska phone tha?
Ss: oh ho pushpa ji..ab phone pe baat karte karte muskura rahi thi karishma maddam to obviously lalla ji ka hi phone hoga na
Cc: santu ji koi itna smart kaise ho sakta hai?

Cc: sorry madam sorry( in his epic style)
Pj: are aap usko chhodiye na aur ye bataiye ki sachme lalla ka phone tha?
Ks: na matlab pushpa ji agar lalla ka phone hoga tabhi hum muskurayenge ka?(pushpa ji ke armaano pe paani pherte hue) lalla ka phone nahi tha woh..woh humari ek saheli hai uska phone tha..chaliye ab sab apne apne kaam pe lagiye
Everyone went on their tables.
Pj: humare to bhaag hi phoot gaye( muttered to herself)

Ks went to hm's cabin
Ks: maddam sir
Hm: ji KS kahiye
Ks: ji wo aaj humara kaam thoda kam hai to kya hum wo khatam karke jaldi ghar jaa sakte hai?
Hm: ji aap ja sakti hai
Ks: ji maddam sir dhanyavad
She turned to go
Hm: KS
Ks: ji ms
Hm: pushpa ji ke lalla ne koi surprise plan kiya hai kya?( teasingly)
Ks just bowed her head.
Hm: khair agar file no. 464 complete ho gayi hai to laakar humare table pe rakh dijiye
Ks: ji maddam sir

Ks went to his house and firstly she hugged him tight.
Ks: kaise hai bhaiya
As: bilkul thik hai...aap?
Ks: badhiya hai
Ma: are karishma aagyi tum
Ks: ji..pranam chachiji( touched her feet)
Ma: jeeti reh beta
Ma: aao chalo tum dono baitho baate karo mai aati hoon
AnuShma: ji
Both went and sat on couch.
Ks: kaisa raha mission?
As: bilkul badhiya
Ks nodded
As: behna..wo..uh
Ks: kahiye na
As: woh..haseena ji kaisi hai?( he asked hesitatingly)
Ks: bahar se to bilkul thik hai
As: aur andar se?
Ks: bohot yad karti hai aapko...dikhati kuch nahi par hum sab jaante hai
As nodded, cleared his throat and stopped the tears which were forming in his eyes.
Ks: ab to mission bhi khatam ho gaya hai bhaiya ab to sabko sach bata dijiye
As: abhi nahi behna..sahi samay ane par
Ks: abhi kahe nahi?
As: kyuki ab hum kisiko aur dard nahi dena chahte..agar hum haseena ji ke samaksh jaayenge to unhe aur kasht hoga..aur pyaar kiya hai humne unse..aise taqleef mai kaise dekhenge unko?( he said lost in her thoughts)
Ks: aur aapko jo dard ho raha hai uska kaa?
He just looked at her with painful eyes and smiled weakly.
Ma: aao beta..khana taiyar hai
Ks: ji..laiye chachiji hum paros dete hai
