Next day (Holi), Rajkot
Everyone in the street were busy in colouring each other. But there was a man who was sitting in the window and staring at a picture of haseena. Yes that man was anubhav and he was missing haseena very badly. He was smiling sadly remembering all the memories of last year's Holi.
As- bas kuch hi din aur haseena ji phir hum aapke paas aa jayenge..humara mission antim padaav par hai hum agle hafte aa rhe hai aapke paas aur usse pehle na hum kisi ko rang lagayenge na kisi ko hume lagane denge...sabse pehle hum aapse rang lagvayenge
Just then his doorbell rang. He opened the door.
Ayesha- happy Holi!( was about to colour his cheeks but he held her hand)
As- sabse pehle humari patni hume rang lagayengi uske baad hi hum kisi se rang lagvayenge...samjhi aap?
Ayesha- par tumhari biwi yaha hai hi nahi
As- agle hafte hum jaa rhe hai lucknow tabhi humari biwi hume rang lagayengi aur uske baad hi dusra koi hume rang lagayega isliye kripaya yaha se chali jaiye
Ayesha- are yeh kya baat hui? Mai itne pyaar se rang lagane ayi aur tum ho ki mujhe bhaga rhe ho...bas ittu sa lagaungi
As- mana kiya na ek baar( sternly)
Ayesha- tum aaj kal itni buri tareeke se kyu baat karte ho mujhse?
As- hume akela chhod dijiye abhi please
Ayesha- holi ke din akele rahoge?
As- ji...aap jaa sakti hai
Ayesha- are par..
As- jaiye
Ayesha- thik hai happy holi(fake sadness)
He closed the door and called haseena.
As soon as the phone rang she looked at the screen and she smiled. She was going to pick up the call but the letter flashed in front of her eyes and her eyes became moist. She took a deep breath and declined the call. He found it weird so he called her again but she didn't pick up. After trying to call her 5 times, the 6th time she picked it up.
Hm- kya hai? (Loudly)
As- haseena ji..aap theek hai?
Hm- aapse matlab?(coldly)
As- aap aise kyu baat kar rhi hai? Koi bhool hui kya humse?
Hm- aapse? Nhi nhi bhool toh humse hui hai jo humne aap par phir bharosa kiya
As- haseena ji( gasped) humne toh aapko keval holi ki badhaiya dene keliye aur yeh batane keliye call kiya tha ki humara mission kuch dino me khatam ho jayega aur agle hafte hum ghar aa rhe hai
Hm- kyu? Aap yaha aane ki takalluf kyu utha rhe hai? Aap chinta mat kariye hum divorce papers bhej denge
She cut the call giving anubhav a huge shock.
As- haseena ji..hel..hello?
As- yeh kya bol rhi thi haseena ji? Divorce?
He was very sad from inside. He went on his terrace and stared the sky. Tears filled in his eyes. He was in a deep thinking.
As- yeh kya chal rha hai humari zindagi mein? Pichle hafte tak sab theek tha aaj achanak kya ho gaya? Haseena ji talak kyu lena chahti hai humse? Kya woh khush nhi hai humare sath? Nahi hai woh khush humare sath! Aur hongi bhi kaise? Unka hriday jo toda hai humne...kyu humesha hum alag ho jate hai haseena? Kyu kabhi ek sath khush nhi reh pate? Kaash! Kaash hum samay ka chakra ghuma kar sab kuch theek kar pate! Har baar kyu hume itna dard sehna padta hai? Khair agar aap is rishte se khush nahi hai toh hum aapse aapki khushi nhi chhinenge...jald se jald aapko talak dekar aapko mukt kar denge( smiled sadly but the thought of separation made him fall on his knees and he broke down)
